Cuomo Threatens Trump: ‘He better have an army’

Check out “Killa” Cuomo, threatening the president. On the heels of killing thousands of nursing home residents, Cuomo apparently feels like a gansta.

So on Wednesday, the man essentially threatened President Trump’s safety if he returns to New York City.

Responding to an exclusive story by The Post, Cuomo ranted about the president’s threat to pull federal funds from “lawless” cities including New York.

The New York Post elaborated:

Cuomo called an emergency press briefing within a half hour on Wednesday night to tear into Trump for the order, which cites New York’s rising murder rate and defunding of the NYPD.

“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” the Democrat said, all but threatening the commander in chief.

As it turns out, Trump indeed has an army. And the Marines, Air Force, a Navy, Space Force, and about 70 million civilians that would overlook Trump killing Cuomo in Times Square.

But the real irony is that Cuomo can’t walk around New York without body guards. And neither could the mayor of NYC.

Yet Cuomo warns:

But Cuomo, who like Trump hails from Queens, wasn’t done. “He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, people don’t want to have anything to do with him.”

Thankfully, the president doesn’t need any bodyguards. He has the aforementioned military. However, if you want more irony, understand that Cuomo and de Blasio have made New York City exponentially more dangerous. So much so that most of New York’s citizens are afraid to go out at night.

No longer should American taxpayers foot the bill for lawlessness of punk ass Leftists.

The article discusses the legality of Trump’s threat:

On substance, Cuomo said he doubted the legality of Trump’s five-page memo ordering a review of federal funds that can be redirected from New York City, Portland, Seattle and Washington, DC.

“It is more of the same from him. It’s political, it is gratuitous. And it’s illegal. But it is another attempt to kill New York City,” Cuomo said.

“President Ford said drop dead. President Trump has been actively trying to kill New York City since he’s been elected,” he said.

In highly personal and insulting language, Cuomo speculated that Trump wasn’t upset about New York’s soaring murder rate and shootings.

“I think it’s because he is from New York City and New York City rejected him, always,” Cuomo said. “He was dismissed as a clown in New York City, those who know him best, like him least.”

Of course, those comments were followed by the standard “let’s blame Trump for covid-19” strategy leftists continue to employ. But it falls upon deaf ears, because common sense can see Trump tried to protect us from this ridiculousness.

Goodbye New York

As for New York, the fact that most of their wealthiest citizens got out of dodge should send a crystal clear message to Cuomo.

Roughly 5 percent of residents — or about 420,000 people — left the city between March 1 and May 1. In the city’s very wealthiest blocks, in neighborhoods like the Upper East Side, the West Village, SoHo and Brooklyn Heights, residential population decreased by 40 percent or more, while the rest of the city saw comparably modest changes.

I’m guessing the only thing that kept so many others in place is a lack of resources. Those that had the money to pick up and go, got up and went.

Cuomo and de Blasio know the truth. They have done an excellent job killing New York all by themselves. In fact, Cuomo even tried to walk back his comments, as he knows Trump’s law and order is no idle threat.

“My comment about the president and bodyguards in New York City, all I’m saying is that he is persona non grata in New York City. And I think he knows that. And he’ll never come back to New York, because New Yorkers will never forget how gratuitously mean he has been to New Yorkers and how many times he’s tried to kill the city that gave him his start and birthed him. That’s what I meant about the bodyguards.”

Cuomo should’ve followed de Blasio’s lead. At least the mayor was smart enough to keep his mouth shut, this time.
