Let’s get this straight. Democrats want to destroy us and everything we stand for!
First, they want to take your guns and burn down your cities. Liberals call for the defunding of law enforcement while reckless riots destroy our livelihood. Anarchy is the preferred climate. Further, they want open borders and socialized medicine. They attack anyone who wants America to be great, or even solvent. And now, Democrats want to take God off the table!
I’ve been fascinated by history my entire life. And although I think I was a conservative from birth, something about the Kennedys and Camelot always grabbed my attention. I remember being utterly surprised that Kennedy’s Catholic background was a liability during his campaign. I’m no Catholic, but I am a Christian and in my book, God is God.
Have Democrats forgotten that Freedom of Religion is the first amendment in our Bill of Rights? That’s high school government 101. And yet the left is consumed with removing God from every nook and cranny of our nation. And now they’re determined to erase God from the Supreme Court!
Democrats want to ax Judge Barrett because of her faith!
Apparently, liberals ditched the Kavanaugh strategy in preparation of Trump’s next Supreme Court appointment. I guess they couldn’t find a string of men to accuse her of rape or sexual assault.
It’s gotten so bad, even a Democrat decided leftists should abandon ship.
As Fox News explains:
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday that Senate Democrats’ push to bring Judge Amy Coney Barrett‘s religion into the debate is a bad idea.
“I’m Catholic, OK. And religion should not enter into it. It sure doesn’t with me,” said Manchin, who doesn’t support filling the Supreme Court vacancy left after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg before the Nov. 3 election.
Barrett, a Catholic who once clerked for Justice Antonin Scalia, is on President Trump’s shortlist and has been targeted for her Catholic faith.
In a memorable moment from Barrett’s appeals court confirmation hearing in 2017, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., told the prospective judge that “the dogma lives loudly within you.”
“It’s awful to bring in religion. It truly is,” Manchin said.
What Happened to the Party of JFK?
It’s a pretty ironic twist of fate to see Joe Biden try to lead a party that is willing to excommunicate religion from the very fabric of our being.
As Laura Ingraham put it, Democrats lost themselves.
“Do they even know the history of their own party?” asked Ingraham, who recalled that just 60 years ago, Democrat John F. Kennedy was elected president — becoming the first and, to date, only Roman Catholic to hold that office.
“I fully expect the upcoming confirmation hearing will showcase Democrats’ supreme desire to excommunicate the faithful from serving in any prominent capacity in government,” Ingraham concluded. “Their actions will once again demonstrate how fundamentally they misconstrue the Constitution, their proper advise and consent role and the function of nine justices who sit on the court itself.”
Sadly, we removed God from our schools years ago. Look how that turned out! Now we want to remove Him from not only our courts, but from any person acting on behalf of our government. It’s one thing to worship as you see fit. But a God-less nation? Are we truly prepared for the ramifications of such actions?
Thankfully, not all Democrats are on board with the insanity.
Perhaps it’s time for Manchin to replace Pelosi. At least then we could return to some semblance of bi-partisanship.
Fox continues:
“Whether you’re Catholic, whether you’re Protestant, whether you’re Jewish, evangelical, whatever it may be, God bless you. You worship who you want and you worship how you want. You worship the same God. All of us do,” he said.
Manchin said he also doesn’t support Democrats’ push to pack the courts.
“Why would you go down that path? It didn’t work in 2015 with the nuclear option, and I would have doubts it would work this time,” Manchin said.
Manchin, who is known for reaching across the aisle, said the Senate needs to return to civility and bipartisanship.
“The Senate was basically designed and intended to be bipartisan and every time we break away and keep pulling that cover off, there is not going to be any difference between us and that hot cup of tea that comes over from the house as Washington said. We have got to cool it off. The Senate has got to cool that off. We’re not doing a very good job.”
Democrats won’t win the election and this is a prime reason why. The Supreme Court is one of our countries greatest assets. And most Americans hope the people selected to judge our policies and procedures have a moral fabric to pull from. Call him Buda, El-Shaddai, Yahweh, Jehovah, Adonai or Abba. I call him God. But that’s the beauty of being an American. No one can tell us who to worship or how. And they certainly can’t block a talented Judge from ascending to the Supreme Court because she believes in a Supreme being.
