Democrats have a few canaries in the coal mine. And they keep dying as noxious gases keep spreading.
The noxious gas in this case is poll data. Democrats remain delusional that Biden leads. But filmmaker Michael Moore remains skeptical.

Filmmaker Michael Moore warned that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden could be running a “worse” campaign in Michigan than 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who lost the state by less than half a percentage point four years ago.
Could be? Joe Biden is running a crappy national campaign. So what would make Moore believe Biden could run a successful campaign in Michigan?
I constantly remind Democrats that while Hillary Clinton was a horrible candidate, she’s much better than Biden. To put it another way, if Hillary Clinton was a train wreck, Biden was the toxic spill from the wreck.

Moore, a Michigan native, pointed to a Detroit Free Press poll released Friday that showed Biden 8 points ahead of President Trump in the state, down from 16 points in June.
“The fact that Trump has narrowed the lead by 50 percent since June should have everybody screaming bloody murder,” Moore said. “We don’t have a minute to lose on this.”
Did that poll give you a chuckle too? The fact that it’s narrowing so abruptly is the only “surprise”. But not because Biden has ever led Trump in Michigan by 16 points. As I say on my radio show often, Biden has never led Trump in any real poll.
Moore continues lamenting Biden’s strategy:
Moore, who has been supporting Democrats in the 2020 elections, said the Biden campaign should work on engaging Black voters in Michigan instead of trying to win over Republicans.
“It’s actually worse than Hillary,” Moore said. “At least there was a ground game, even though she didn’t show up. There were Hillary offices in many towns, there were door-to-door campaigns.”
Moore also referenced a Time magazine article from this week detailing an “invisible campaign” Biden is running in Michigan.
“Yes, we need to do it differently than 2016, but we need to go the other direction,” Moore said. “We need more, we don’t need less.”
Not long ago, Moore expressed grave concerns about Biden’s chances. I wrote at the time:
Moore wrote in a Facebook post Friday:
“Are you ready for a Trump victory? Are you mentally prepared to be outsmarted by Trump again? Do you find comfort in your certainty that there is no way Trump can win? Are you content with the trust you’ve placed in the DNC to pull this off?”
“I’m warning you almost 10 weeks in advance. The enthusiasm level for the 60 million in Trump’s base is OFF THE CHARTS! For Joe, not so much. Don’t leave it to the Democrats to get rid of Trump. YOU have to get rid of Trump. WE have to wake up every day for the next 67 days and make sure each of us are going to get a hundred people out to vote. ACT NOW!”
No matter what the Democrats do between now and election, their fate is set. Trump will soundly defeat Biden. Thus, he will defeat the entirety of the Democratic Social Party of America and all its entities.
Nothing has changed. Democrats remain optimistically pessimistic. Because they know they don’t have a prayer.
Bill Maher expressed the same concerns, because deep down he and Moore are realists. Comedic hack and documentarian hack, these Leftists both observe people. And what they see disturbs them.
Maher speaks often of cancel culture and how Leftism implodes on itself. Moore echoes those comments, while offering a view of the world through his lenses. And while the man is human scum, he can’t hide from the truth.
None of the Leftists will hide on November 3.
