Apparently rehab didn’t help this former rising star in the Democratic Party. Because the former mayor of Tallahassee now admits he’s bisexual.
That’s not what he said when he was caught in a room with a male prostitute. Here’s what I documented at the time of his incident:
Do they have rehab for being butt-naked with a male prostitute from RentMen.com? Because that’s the rehab former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum needs.
However, Gillum apparently only believes he has an alcohol problem. Yahoo news reported,
Days after police say they found him in a South Beach hotel room with a collapsed companion and baggies of crystal meth, former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum announced plans Sunday night to enter rehab for alcohol abuse and step away from the spotlight.
Gillum said in a statement:
“After conversation with my family and deep reflection, I have made the decision to seek help, guidance and enter a rehabilitation facility at this time. I now need to firmly focus on myself and my family. I will be stepping down from all public facing roles for the foreseeable future.”
So predictable, these Leftists. Rehab. Then focus on the family.
As I wrote at the time of Gillum’s incident with the male hooker he described as his “friend”, I’d love to hear how he explained this to Jai Gillum, his wife.
Understand that Democrats hailed this black man as an up and comer. They wanted him to be the next governor of Florida.
This certainly explains why Democrats so willingly accept braindead Joe Biden.
Gillum now wants to revamp his image. Previously he blamed alcohol for the incident. However as News One reports, there were underlying reasons for his tryst with the gay porn man.
Andrew Gillum told Tamron Hall during an interview that aired Monday that he identifies as “bisexual.” The revelation came on the season premiere of “The Tamron Hall Show” during a line of questioning centered on an incident at a Miami Beach hotel in March when the former Florida gubernatorial candidate was found unconscious in a room with two other men, including one who overdosed from drugs.
“I don’t identify as gay,” he also told Hall.
“I’ve never shared that publicly before,” he added.
So alcohol has been cleared of this “crime”?!
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
The spokesperson for Alcohol reminds us that his client has maintained his innocence throughout.
“Next to guns, my clients get blamed for everything else. I’m just glad this is all over! My client needs to be free to live his life again!”
And Gillum now admits to having gay sex with a man. But he is NOT gay. And his wife is ok with his lies, as the article suggests:
Gillum’s wife, R. Jai Gillum, also joined her husband on the talk show and spoke openly when Hall asked her about Gillum’s sexuality.
“So many people just don’t understand bisexuality. Bisexuality is just something different. I just believe that love and sexuality exist on a spectrum,” R. Jai told Hall. “All I care about is what’s between us and what agreement we make.”
Understand that Gillum kept his “bisexuality” from his Party, his wife, his children, his friends, and his supporters. Gillum was so well thought of that Barack Obama himself campaigned for him ahead of the 2018 midterm election.
Prior to getting outed, Gillum engaged regularly with President Trump. As the article noted, those barbs “endeared himself to the liberal political structure until that fateful early morning of March 13 when Gillum was found inebriated and unresponsive in a compromising position with two other men in a Miami Beach hotel room where a police report indicated there was suspected drug use.”
And there it was. The truth comes out in the strangest of fashion.
Gillum toed the party line. Despite overwhelming evidence of a sexual encounter with another man, Gillum lied. Next, he quickly released a brief public statement apologizing. He claimed he had too much to drink, despite drug paraphernalia being discovered as well.
Finally, Gillum voluntarily entered rehab days later to finish “Democrat Political Career Disaster Recovery 101”.
Ironically, Hall’s interview was conducted from the Tallahassee hotel ballroom where Gillum accepted the Democratic nomination to run for Florida governor a little more than two years ago. Gillum lost that election by a razor thin margin. And he confided in Hall that loss caused him to want to “numb” himself. Thus, the drinking.
“A level of drinking that I had never done before,” claimed Gillum.
Let’s get this straight. There is a level of drinking that a man can do where he wants another man’s penis in his ass? That should be a warning on ALL alcohol bottles!
I’m not buying this. But worse, Gillum tries the “my Daddy was a drunk” routine.
Describing his father as an alcoholic, Gillum spoke about drinking whiskey in the mornings after he lost the race.
He said he was hiding his drinking problem from his wife.
“Everything was fraudulent” for him at that time, Gillum said, describing his mindstate as “crushed.”
When did everything go fraudulent? When he was mayor of Tallahassee? In his marriage? He loses a political race and can’t handle the pressure?
I’ll play along, because the next part of Gillum’s story may be the funniest.
After losing the race, he ended up alone at a bar having a few drinks. Then somebody slipped him a Mickey:
When the interview turned to the night of the hotel incident, Gillum suggested something may have been put in one of his drinks that he said was “prepared for me” while he was drinking alone for hours at the hotel bar.
“The next memory I have is I was in a bathroom with no clothes on and five police officers,” he told Hall, who didn’t ask too many questions about Gillum’s “friend” who overdosed in the hotel room.
That “friend” was identified in March as Travis Dyson, a male escort in the Miami area.
Oops. Gillum slipped and fell on Travis Dyson’s penis. And now he’s bisexual.
I don’t think people like Gillum, okay Democrats, even know that we can easily see through their lies. But clearly the man wants his political life back.
Interestingly, Democrats don’t care about bisexuality. So who was Gillum fooling? Regardless, I’m just happy that Florida made the right choice. They picked the man who isn’t lying about his sexuality.
