In the land of fruits, nuts, and fairies, one would think retailer Target would be immune to the ills of the trade. Like shrinkage.
Shrinkage in retail is theft. Theft by employee or shopper. But with “woke” Target, friend of the LGBTQ+, and particularly the Ts, who forced this latest move by Target?
In case you weren’t aware, Target is closing all six of its San Francisco stores early due to crime.

According to the California Retailer’s Association, three cities in our state are among the top 10 in the country when it comes to organized retail crime–Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento.
Already we are seeing the negative impact it is having in San Francisco with stores permanently shutting down or closing early. It has become one of the most pressing issues in our city today.
Target has now acknowledged that San Francisco is the only city in America where they have decided to close some stores early because of the escalating retail crime.
For more than a month, we’ve been experiencing a significant and alarming rise in theft and security incidents at our San Francisco Stores, similar to reports from other retailers in the area.
Target isn’t the only store in San Francisco to make changes because of the continuous shoplifting. After 10 p.m. the 7-Eleven on Drumm St. in the Financial District only does business through a metal door. But first you have to ring the bell to let them know you’re outside.
“This window was installed like two to three months ago because it was not safe. Sometimes they would break that glass of the door,” explained Manager Bobby Singh.
Anybody surprised?
San Francisco is known for poop maps and shoplifting. The city has devolved into a sh*thole, and the Leftist legislators are to blame.
As for the retail problems with Target and other stores, the fault lies in the insane legislation that raised the felony limit to $950 for shoplifting.
So now people can steal at will. And don’t bother calling the police. Because why would they bother, given The Ferguson Effect.
And I thought the LGBTQ+ took care of their property? San Francisco represents the mecca for deviant sexual behavior, so one would think they would take PRIDE in their “shining city on the hill”. If you haven’t been to San Francisco in a while, know that it’s not Kansas anymore, Dorothy.
This retail crime wave is only the start.
Crime doesn’t stand still. Criminals are perceptive, so they know the trends. But so do the citizens.
According to a poll from the San Francisco’s Chamber of Commerce, over 40 percent of 500 registered voters in San Francisco plan to leave the city. They cite multiple reasons, like the rise in crime, homelessness, and quality of life concerns.
Worse, a press release from the chamber of commerce noted that “For the second year in a row, 70% of residents feel that the quality of life in San Francisco has declined.” The second year in a row.
Don’t think these numbers will panic Democrats. As long as the Fed bails them out, they will continue their nonsense. But one day soon, retailers and other capitalists will wake up. While Target doesn’t want to admit Leftism sucks on ice, their actions certainly prove it. Understand, this is just the start. It will get worse as America transitions back to sanity.
