I don’t know how to feel about the Taliban, because I don’t trust our government or media.
Honestly, up to now, I’ve considered the Taliban (and others in the Middle East) goat f*ckers, for the most part. But, like most Americans, we don’t know enough about the situation to be intelligent.
Look, if they hate blacks and gays and subjugate women, then I have multiple problems with that. Still, I’ve seen enough movies to know that things are rarely what they seem.
That said, the butt-f*ck the Taliban gave Joey Demento was exactly what it appears to be. Public political porn of the unpleasant kid.
Again, being brutally honest, I congratulated the Taliban for getting in Biden’s ass. He deserved it, after the screwing he’s given American taxpayers for 7 months. But who didn’t deserve it are the troops, the American citizens abroad, and the host of allies we left behind. Like our esteemed editor adds, this guy left behind service dogs. What kind of man screws over a dog? Where’s PETA for crying out loud?
In fact, WHERE ARE the DEMOCRATS?
I liked Trump. I thought he did a pretty good job as President. Certainly had some record-breaking successes. But I was never afraid to speak up when I didn’t approve. For example, Trump showed an inability to surround himself with the right people. Despite his desire to drain the swamp, he often put swamp-dwellers in positions of power. Trump wasn’t perfect and most Republicans had no trouble admitting it. Democrats lack those kind of balls. Instead of facing the fact that they’re president is a completely incompetent embarrassment, they lay low.
I’ve been kicked off the social media, so maybe the Biden backers are still buzzing on Facebook, but it real life, it’s been crickets. No “I back Biden” lovefests around the water-cooler.
The reasons are pretty obvious.
Especially considering the news steadily streaming out of Afghanistan.
According to The New York Post:
The Taliban is holding six airplanes carrying Americans and Afghan refugees “hostage” at an airport in Afghanistan, Rep. Michael McCaul claimed in an interview Sunday.
McCaul, the ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said on “Fox News Sunday” that the flights have been cleared by the US State Department to depart but “the Taliban will not let them leave the airport.”
“In fact, we have six airplanes at Mazar-i-Sharif airport, six airplanes, with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now,” the Texas congressman told host Chris Wallace.
Wallace questioned McCaul on what demands the Taliban are making before allowing the flights to leave.
“Well, they are not clearing airplanes to depart. They’ve sat at the airport for the last couple days, these planes, and they’re not allowed to leave,” he said.
“We know the reason why is because the Taliban want something in exchange. This is really, Chris, turning into a hostage situation where they’re not going to allow American citizens to leave until they get full recognition from the United States of America,” he continued.
So now the ball’s in Biden’s court? Is that what they’re saying? Because if so, we might as well execute them ourselves, because that’s exactly what’s coming.
