The Cuomo Brothers have been dethroned. And while Andrew has remained out of the news cycle for a while, little brother “Fredo” has dominated the media circus.
Apparently, it’s not over.
Today, Chris Cuomo announced that he is stepping away from his SiriusXM radio show. That’s the public story Cuomo crafted. However if we’ve learned anything about Leftists, it’s that we can’t believe anything they say.
I’m betting that Cuomo got the same treatment by Sirius that he got from CNN. Remember, Cuomo no longer has the clout of his big brother, the New York Love Gov.
Earlier last week, Cuomo said on his radio show that CNN’s announcement of his indefinite suspension “hurts” and is “embarrassing.” Well the firing came shortly thereafter. And unless Cuomo is obtuse, he had to know that he would lose the Sirius gig.
At least he could get in front of this one. Because in a tweet earlier, Cuomo wrote:
“The way my time ended at CNN was hard”
Hard and unanticipated. Because Cuomo had things in check when big bro was governor. Nobody dared expose his lies.
As reality settles in, Cuomo understands that he joins the Sodomites. His fall from grace puts everybody around him at risk, as a new set of Democrats take over the pack. Cuomo said,
“While I have a thick skin, I also have a family, for whom the past week has been extraordinarily difficult. So, right now, I have to take a step back and focus on what comes next.”
Things aren’t over for CNN with Cuomo.
Who knows what lawsuits await the network? I’m confident that more women will emerge, real or otherwise. While I detest the sharks who smell Cuomo’s blood in the water, he and CNN deserve what they get.
Cuomo won’t get a job making $6 million. I’m not sure how much money he made on the side when his brother terrorized New York state. But the days of wine and roses are over.
No longer will he or his brother be invited to all the big events in NYC. Life for the Cuomos will be dramatically different, as the Cuomos experience life as mere mortals.
So let’s sit back and watch the bottom-feeders destroy each other. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the pendulum swinging back.
