Democrats Praise Biden, Then Receive Bad News

Democrats and their so-called “esteemed leader” used Jan. 6th as a half-baked attempt to drum up some approval ratings. Because his numbers can’t get much worse.

But at the end of the day, the left were left looking like fools, again.

Let’s just set aside the fact that President Trump clearly did not intend for Jan. 6th to ravel so far out of control. He only wanted Americans to stand up for freedom, and fair elections, to be heard. He didn’t ask for some kind of leftist-looking insurrection. But the real point is that we were left without a leader.

Sure, Joe Biden sits in the Oval Office. I’m guessing the top desk drawer is filled with Ensure and Depends. However, he’s not leading our nation. But we’ll get back to that in a minute.

This morning, I was inundated with headlines such as this:

Democrats hail Biden for calling out Trump.

That one is from The Hill. They praised the left for trying to pin January 6th on the former president.

They write:

Democrats have been waiting for a year for President Biden to call out former President Trump for his claims about the 2020 presidential election and pinpoint the role Trump played in instigating his followers to “fight like hell” to contest the result.

Standing in the Capitol on Thursday, Biden finally did just that.

A widespread sentiment among Democrats has been that Biden hasn’t been hard enough on Trump as the former president relentlessly accuses Democrats of rigging the election and making repeated claims about widespread voter fraud in which a variety of legal maneuvers and state certifications have failed to prove.

Democrats say they have been waiting for Biden to respond in kind, as the stakes grow even higher during a midterm election year in which his poll numbers are sinking and Democrats risk losing both chambers of Congress.

“Hey, White House, more of that please,” said one Democratic strategist of Biden’s Jan. 6 speech. “Way f—ing more of that.”

Poor little Democrats. As if cheering for the losing team can will them into winning. We know who the winning team is.

Trump Clapped Back:

You can bet Trump didn’t miss the opportunity to fire back at the Biden Administration.

As I previously shared:

Biden “used my name today to try to further divide America,” Trump said in a statement. “This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed.”

“Our Country no longer has Borders, has totally and completely lost control of Covid (record numbers!), is no longer Energy Independent, Inflation is rampant, our Military is in chaos, and our exit, or surrender, from Afghanistan was perhaps the most embarrassing day in the long and distinguished history of the United States—and so much more,” Trump continued.

Trump concluded by claiming that Democrats “want to own this day” in order to “stoke fears and divide America.”

“I say, let them have it,” Trump said, stating that “America sees through” their words and actions.

And if anyone doubts Trump’s words, there are a few more headlines circulating the internet today. And they look something like this:

December’s disappointing jobs report and the ‘disappearance of the American worker’

Stuart Varney: December jobs report ‘a big miss’

U.S. Hiring Stumbled in December, a Weak Showing Before Omicron’s Surge

Of course, the mainstream media must have a “blame covid” headline. No doubt about that, but let’s get back to that whole leadership thing I mentioned earlier.

Biden’s a buffoon. He was handed a golden economy on a silver platter. One where American companies were thriving and unemployment hit record lows. I remember writing that both women and minorities experienced the lowest unemployment EVER.

Yet, in December, the shopping season of the year, we added only 199k jobs- less than half the expectation. And let’s face it, expectations are modest, if that, under Biden’s lack of leadership.

Yet, Democrats are still passing out the praise. Consider these comments:

“It was one of the strongest speeches Biden has given and struck the perfect balance between remembering the tragedies of the day while clearly and directly outlining who was responsible for the attack and that they’re continuing their efforts to this day,” said Democratic strategist Eddie Vale.

Other Democrats said the address, during which Biden sought to dismantle Trump’s election falsehoods and also pay tribute to those impacted by the riot, was one for the history books.

“President Biden’s speech was one of the best speeches I’ve heard from a sitting president,” said Democratic strategist Adrienne Elrod, who served as an aide on Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020. “He rose to the occasion and delivered the passionate and substantive speech our country needed to hear on this day, while forcefully calling out President Trump for his role toward instigating and applauding the insurrection of the U.S. Capitol.”

These comments were made at the same time we received the bad news of the December jobs report. Does the liberal rhetoric even sound like it jives with our current state of the union? We’re hungry and unemployed. We can’t afford gas and our utilities are breaking the bank. We didn’t buy Christmas and our optimism is fading. Does that sound like we’re building back better?

If only we could Make America Great Again.
