Bill Bar Sets Record Straight: Trump Beats ANY Progressive

There is no scenario in which he would turn away from the GOP.

In recent months, Bill Barr raised his share of eyebrows when he suggested that Trump wasn’t the right temperament for the White House.

While I disagree, I can admit that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Trump doesn’t do things the traditional way of doing them. He’s certainly not politically polished. But I believe that is something most Americans love about Trump. He’d rather take the practical angle than the political one.

For example, the political world loved being part of the Paris Accord. Trump recognized it for what it is, a pile of political bullshit. Thus, he took us out of it.  In politics, we’d become a country that was importing a boatload more goods than we were exporting. Trump decided that was malarky, so he tackled it. And that’s not all. He secured the border, while politicians called him xenophobic. Trump brought jobs back to America and boosted the economy while leftists quietly cashed in their dividends. And Trump didn’t sweat it when these leftists refused to like winning. But along the way, there were things that clearly made Trump boil over.

I recall when Jeff Sessions appointed a special counsel to investigate Russian interference into the 2016 election. Trump was pissed. Rightfully so, he knew it was a witch hunt. And he expected Sessions to be smarter than that. Of course, Trump also lost it with reporters time and time again. Again, he was treated like the scum of the earth by the mainstream media. They continually accused him of things Democrats did, such as threatening Ukraine. I wonder what would happen if Biden went down to Ukraine today and threatened to pull their funding if they investigated his crackhead son? Isn’t the current narrative that Ukraine is good? But I digress.

All of this was just to say that I acknowledge Trump’s imperfections. His utter lack of political polish. Yet, I’d still vote for him in 2024 given the chance. And so would former AG William Barr.

According to The Hill:

Former Attorney General William Barr on Monday said it is “inconceivable” that he would not vote for the Republican nominee in the 2024 presidential election, but said he does not think former President Trump should lead the ticket.

Asked by co-anchor Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s “Today” if he agrees with Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), who has said Trump is not fit to serve and should never be near the Oval Office again, Barr did not give a direct answer, instead saying that he plans to support a different candidate for the GOP nomination.

“I certainly have made it clear, I don’t think he should be our nominee and I’m gonna support somebody else for the nomination,” Barr said.

Pressed by Guthrie on if he would support Trump should he receive the nod from the GOP, Barr said he could not imagine a scenario in which he did not support the Republican nominee. He said the progressive agenda is “the greatest threat” to the country.

“Because I believe that the greatest threat to the country is the progressive agenda being pushed by the Democratic Party, it’s inconceivable to me that I wouldn’t vote for the Republican nominee,” Barr said.

“So even if he lied about the election and threatened democracy as you write in your book, better than a Democrat,” Guthrie responded.

“It’s hard to project what the facts are gonna turn out to be three years hence, but as of now, it’s hard for me to conceive that I wouldn’t vote for the Republican nominee,” Barr added.

What an interesting choice of words. Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but did Barr just admit there could be new facts emerging regarding the Big Cheat? I, for one, certainly hope so. We know what happened. We just need the truth to set us free.
