We need more people willing to say “JUST SAY NO!” to woke.
The social justice movement is officially ridiculous. And these Nazi-like overseers want everyone to capitulate to their “woke” BS. But some people posess both the intelligence AND the strength to ignore leftists and their #WOKE culture.

A Shawnee State University professor who refused to use the preferred pronouns of a biologically male student won $400,000 from the university.
Philosophy professor Nicholas Meriwether settled with the university after filing a lawsuit in November 2018 alleging that the school violated his religious freedom and First Amendment rights, according to a press release from the professor’s legal representative, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). ADF filed a voluntary dismissal of the case on April 14 in light of the settlement agreement.
Meriwether can choose when to use or avoid titles and pronouns when addressing students, per the university’s settlement.

Since when does being woke trump being respectful?
Meriweather, who taught at the school since 1996, always referred to his students using “sir,” “ma’am,” “mister,” or “miss,” according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. A biological male student approached the professor after class in Jan. 2018 requesting that he use female pronouns and titles to address the male student.
The professor claims that the student threatened him and compared his refusal to use female pronouns to someone calling the professor a “c***.”
After the student filed a complaint with the university, Meriwether filed a lawsuit with the U.S. District Court against the school’s trustees and other school officials for allegedly attempting to force his speech.
ADF claims that Meriwether offered to use “any name the student requested instead of titles and pronouns.” However, the university rejected the compromise, “instead forcing the professor to speak contrary to his religious convictions and philosophical beliefs.”
ADF Senior Counsel Travis Barham said he believes this is a victory for free speech in America.
Wow. Two wins for free speech! We should all toast to that.
Now that the richest man in the world stepped up and bought Twitter, leftism will see a sharp decline rather quickly. That’s because a lot of leftism is propped up by fake followers on social media.
As Kevin Jackson recently explained, for many leftists, their followers aren’t real people. They’re bots. Think about it, do you really think two million people are fans of AOC? But these bots try to legitimize conversations that are anything but legitimate.
Using fake metrics for both followers and the reach of individual tweets, Twitter puffs up personalities and makes them appear to be internet starts. It’s about as real as reality TV. In fact, it reminds me of a little history lesson I learned back in high school. In the 1950s, a series of games shows were busted for being rigged. Coined the “quiz show scandals”, the genre was nearly wiped out when the Senate investigated the problem.
Unfortunately, I don’t think our Senate has that kind of moral fiber anymore. If it did, Elon Musk could focus on his rocket ships and electric cars, instead of defending free speech for the entire world. But thank goodness Musk stepped in. I guess he reinforced one thing. Where there’s a prayer, there’s a way. Don’t believe me? Just ask Professor Meriwether what he thinks. I bet he has 400,000 opinions to offer.
