“Any woman who chooses to behave like a full human being should be warned that the armies of the status quo will treat her as something of a dirty joke . . . She will need her sisterhood.” ― Gloria Steinem
When the infamous feminist spoke those words many years ago, she clearly saw the writing on the wall- but missed the bigger picture.. and so did the sisterhood. Like many that seek their own agenda they ignored the possibility of a danger inherent in their plan. As such, they lent very little consideration to the Pandora’s box they had just opened called The Women’s Liberation Movement. Regardless of your justification, any action causes an equal and opposite reaction.
A similar case is made in the film Jurassic Park.
After seeing the dinosaurs and learning that they were created for amusement in the park, scientist Ian Malcolm responds with the following famous words: “I’ll tell you the problem with the scientific power that you’re using here, it didn’t require any discipline to attain it. You read what others had done and you took the next step. You didn’t earn the knowledge for yourselves, so you don’t take any responsibility for it. You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could, and before you even knew what you had, you patented it, and packaged it, and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox, and now you’re selling it, you wanna sell it. Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn’t stop to think if they should.”
They say that hindsight is always 20/20; meaning of course, that clarity often comes only after making a less informed one. However, when it comes to the position of feminists on the Transgender issue, they are eerily silent. Rather than admit culpability and take responsibility for the monster they themselves created, they choose to ignore their role in the collateral damage.
Power is a living, breathing entity with a will all its own.
It does not only go where it is supposed to go; it also goes wherever it is allowed to go. In the recent documentary “What Is A Woman,” Podcast host and author Matt Walsh decides to foray into a polarized world, seeking an answer to a question he already knows he is not likely to find.
During his quest, he literally travels across the globe in search of what many had believed to be a forgone
conclusion. He engages people on the street, from various walks of life, even those just pushing narratives, giving the average citizen an opportunity to set the story straight, rather than simply repeating what they heard.
When approaching several leading professionals in the field, he was only met with circular reasoning. In other words, “A woman is someone who identifies as a woman is someone who identifies as a woman is someone who identifies as woman…” etc., stating that an individual can be who or whatever they choose to be, and mostly variations of that theme.
The point?
Notwithstanding a few dissenting positions, this was the basic theme of the documentary. Unfortunately, most of the contrary opinions came from the men- not from the women. In addition, the women questioned were by-and-large in favor of the GAS procedure. So, it appears that Steinem was right; girls needed the sisterhood-and the sisterhood was nowhere to be found.
Yes, while the narcissistic fires of rhetoric continue to burn out of control, today’s feminists not only take no responsibility, they cheer on the success of a group whose very existence makes feminism null and void. The transgender agenda is not a celebration of womanhood- it is a denial of it.
It boasts that by simply saying you are a woman- abracadabra- sex change. Transgenderism is not only the direct result, but the le the de facto legacy of the woman’s movement.
Take for example, 17-year-old Chloe.
According to a story in the New York Post, when Chloe was 12 years-old, she believed she was transgender. Shortly after turning 13, she decided to reveal her discovery to her parents. Subsequently she was prescribed testosterone and put on puberty blockers. Within two years, she underwent a double mastectomy. Just one year later at 16, she realized she had made a mistake.
The article entitled ‘I literally lost organs:’ Why detransitioned teens regret changing genders,” reveals the side of the record that the Left simply chooses not to play. New York Post’s Rikki Schlott reports: “Now 17, Chloe is one of a growing cohort called “detransitioners” — those who seek to reverse a gender transition, often after realizing they actually do identify with their biological sex.
Tragically, many will struggle for the rest of their lives with the irreversible medical consequences of a decision they made as minors. “I can’t stay quiet,” said Chloe. “I need to do something about this and to share my own cautionary tale.”
In recent years, the number of children experiencing gender dysphoria in the west has skyrocketed. Exact figures are difficult to come by, but, between 2009 and 2019, children being referred for transitioning treatment in the United Kingdom increased 1,000% among biological males and 4,400% among biological females. Meanwhile, the number of young people identifying as transgender in the US has almost doubled since 2017, according to a new Centers for Disease Control & Prevention report.
Dr. Lisa Littman, a former professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Brown University, coined the term “rapid onset gender dysphoria” to describe this subset of transgender youth, typically biological females who become suddenly dysphoric during or shortly after puberty. Littman believes this may be due to adolescent girls’
susceptibility to peer influence on social media.” The article continues: “Experts worry that many young people seeking to transition are doing so without a proper mental-health evaluation.
In other words, transgender IS a mental defect. Moving on…
Among them is Dr. Erica Anderson, a clinical psychologist specializing in gender, sexuality and identity. A
transgender woman herself, Anderson has helped hundreds of young people navigate the transition journey over the past 30 years. Anderson supports the methodical, milestone-filled process lasting anywhere from a few months to several years to undergo transition. Today, however, she’s worried that some
young people are being medicalized without the proper restraint or oversight. “I’m concerned that the rise of detransitioners is reflective of some young people who have progressed through their gender journey very, very quickly,” she said.
She worries that some doctors may be defaulting to medicalization as a remedy for other personal or mental-health factors. “When other issues important to a child are not fully addressed [before transition], then medical
professionals are failing children.”
Over the last 10 years, there has been an overwhelming increase in the
Transgender arena, particularly in sex-reassignment surgeries. Not for adult
women-but for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls. The number of “Gender-
clinics” in America has increased exponentially in recent years. With the
entertainment industry, political pundits, respected doctors and even the
President of the United States hawking for the trans agenda during his
candidacy, our young girls are relentlessly under attack. While girls like Chloe
and Helena are attempting to turn their lives around, there are many, many
more that lack either the courage and/or support to make such a stand.
For those of us that see the movement for what it is-we must stand with them. Be advised, we are witnessing the end of the female population as we know them.
Thus, those of us who personally know girls facing such challenges must
face such challenges with them. If you believe that it does not affect your
family and could never happen to you- it is not a matter of if; it is a matter of
when.
