The spy airship that hovered 70,000 feet over the United States for 7 days of an espionage orgy is just part of a panoply of domination strategies China has been conducting worldwide, especially in Third World nations.
Yes, one could term them “emerging” countries but the nomenclature would make them no less poverty-stricken, plague-ridden, crime-saturated, political corruption-infested. Nor would it diminish whatever else their disadvantages might be.
THE QUARTET OF WEBS
China’s tactics are 4-fold:
-
- Spend money
- Take money
- Intimidate and violate
- Enforce dependence
To phrase William Shakespeare’s line in 16th century English: “All that glisters is not gold.” Downtrodden nations might rejoice in the avalanche of Chinese largesse, but the populace are too naïve – or their leadership too corruptly uncaring? – to learn from history what happens when the time comes to pay the price to any Communist overseer. À la Cuba, Venezuela, and everywhere else, the wealth is eventually sucked up by the oligarchy.

Here are just a few examples:
MONEY POURED INTO NEEDY OR GREEDY COUNTRIES
Perhaps China’s most ambitious scheme, the Belt And Road Initiative (BRI) started in 2013. With an anticipated completion date of 2049, it is a global interconnectivity transportation plan. So far 151 countries have signed up.
The Chinese footprint in 6 Caribbean countries is enormous. The Commonwealth of the Bahamas – up to now a U.S. ally, but for how much longer is questionable – is the recipient of more than $70 million in investments and over $3 billion in preferential loans. Jamaica’s windfall is over $10 billion in investments (over a billion in highway projects alone). Moreover, China owns the port of Kingston.
Latin America, pockmarked with a long history of flirtation with Communism, has reached $450 billion in Chinese trade. $137 billion in loans to the region has, according to Forbes, skyrocketed China into one of the world’s leading lenders.
Since 1956, China has had its tentacles wrapped around Africa. Jeff Desjardins of Visual Capitalist, reported that as of 2015, billions in direct investment targeted 46 of the 54 African countries, in addition to interest-free loans. The Brookings Institution revealed that the Tanzania-Zambia Railway, completed in 1975, was built in only 5 years with an interest-free loan of $980 million. Bloomberg states that as of January 2023, Africa is in debt to China for about $700 billion, including loan defaults by biggest debtors Zambia and Ghana.
Furthermore, India, one of the 2 emerging superpowers alongside China, is benefitting in many ways, including funds that birth startups.
THE MANY WAYS CHINA SIPHONS MONEY
Last October the BBC outed Chinese Communist Tik-Tok as skimming off up to 70% of aid money sent to Syrian refugees.
The US Secret Service, part of the U.S. Treasury, reported Chinese government-linked hackers stole minimum $20 million of our COVID relief funds.
THE CHINESE DRAGON IS ESCALATING ITS AGGRESSION
In 2020 in the Galwan Valley, China instigated the bloodiest border battle in 45 years between it and India.
The Chinese Consul General in Manchester, UK was filmed attacking Bob Chan, a Hong Kong democracy protester in October 2022.
Secret police stations have been discovered in countries outside China, including 2 in the United States! Their raison d’être? To kidnap and force by torture or any means the repatriation of Chinese citizens.
DEPENDENCY
India is hostage to China with China being responsible for 40% of India’s total trade deficit. Electronics and the rare earth materials necessary for the IT industry have rendered this country of 1.4 billion people structurally dependent.
China has long had a pharmaceutical stranglehold on the world. In April 2008 the U.S. Congressional Subcommittee On Oversight And Investigations held a hearing on the heparin pharmaceutical scandal that cost American lives from infants to elderly and severely injured many. China deliberately produced counterfeit heparin using a contaminant substitute.
China ranks number one in exports of raw materials for vitamins and antibiotics. Commerce Departments data verifies that in 2018 China produced 95 percent of U.S. imports of ibuprofen, 91 percent of U.S. imports of hydrocortisone, 70 percent of U.S. imports of acetaminophen, 40 to 45 percent of U.S. imports of penicillin and 40 percent of U.S. imports of (still) heparin.
Currently Americans are experiencing a shortage of antibiotics, antivirals, and children’s medications. China is the world’s largest exporter of raw materials to make vitamins and antibiotics. China could easily introduce a substance that would sicken or kill then lie that it was “accidental” just as they lied that their spy balloon “accidentally” entered U.S. airspace.
Bottom line: China’s medicines and supplements can not only be withheld but weaponized.
CAVEAT EMPTOR
China is a suppressive, subjugating, racist culture incompatible with the soul of freedom-loving mankind. Undeniably, demonstrably, the goal of all Communism is world domination.
If China can humiliate America, thus far the greatest superpower in the world, with its (Biden-sanctioned) week-long espionage balloon tour, think what it can – and will – do to the rest of the world.
The consequences for reliance on the Evil Dragon are endless.
