McConnell Agrees with Trump

File this under “Too little too late”, as Mitch McConnell agrees with President Trump.

Before we get to what McConnell said, let’s recap some of the many things Trump got right. For example Trump’s comments on all the cartel killers, drug traffickers, human traffickers, and gang members crossing the Southern Border of the U.S.

When Trump called this out, Leftists called Trump a Mexican-hating xenophobe. But as it turns out, Trump was right. Now under Biden, these future Democrats wait on their chance to cause chaos in America. Invited by Biden.

Trump said America could bring back manufacturing, and he accomplished that. He removed onerous legislation from corporations, allow them to thrive.

Trump made America energy independent, and we exported oil and natural gas. After all Trump accomplished the establishment was forced to target the man. Thus, the world knows with 100 percent certainty that Trump lost the election in a Democrat-created coup and “insurrection”. And now he’s being persecuted by Democrats for exposing their lies.

While there is much more Trump got right, what’s most applicable today is what Trump said of China, Iran, and Russia. Even more importantly, how Trump handled this “axis of evil” offers one for the record books is where McConnell jumped on the Trump bandwagon.

As Fox News reported, even McConnell recognizes this now.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., on Sunday deemed China, Russia and Iran the new “axis of evil” amid wars in Ukraine and Israel, while addressing U.S. funding of allies’ responses to those duel conflicts.

In a new sit-down interview with “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream, McConnell, the highest-ranking Senate Republican, agreed with fellow Republican Kentuckian Sen. Rand Paul that the $1.5 trillion deficit is “entirely too big.” But while Paul remarked last month that the U.S. under the Biden administration was borrowing heavily from China just to send aid to Ukraine, McConnell instead emphasized Sunday that the deficit also expanded during the prior administration under former President Donald Trump.

Typical McConnell. He can’t completely agree with Trump. And how could he pass up the opportunity to mention Trump’s deficit. Even though McConnell knows that Democrats forced the covid deficit on Trump.

McConnell got back on track, saying,

“You have to respond to conditions that actually exist that are a threat to the United States. The Iranians are a threat to us as well. And so, this is an emergency. It’s an emergency that we step up and deal with this axis of evil – China, Russia, Iran – because it’s an immediate threat to the United States.”

Of course McConnell made no reference to Trump having these countries in check. And McConnell artfully avoided mentioning Biden by name, though he did point out Biden’s flawed foreign policy:

“In many ways the world is more endangered today than it has been in my lifetime,” McConnell said,

Words never spoken during Trump’s tenure.

But don’t think the Uniparty wants Trump back. Nevertheless, if the world continues to crumble, they may have no choice.
