Does Biden Even Know He’s President?

In Jan 2022, Biden’s popularity was questioned. And one of the lines in an article about Biden asked, “Why don’t you like me?”

In answering the question, the article highlighted Biden’s “accomplishments”:

On paper, the Biden administration has racked up some impressive achievements: more than 6 million new jobs were created, a single-year record. Unemployment dropped from 6.2% to 3.9%, another single-year first. Childhood poverty and hunger are down while average wages went up. Biden has the first majority non-white Cabinet in history and presides over the most diverse administration in history. He passed a massive COVID-19 relief bill and an expansive infrastructure package many previous presidents tried and failed to achieve.

The key words: “on paper”.

On paper is the only place Biden makes sense. Because if you look into his policies, you understand why he polls low. But before I get into that, I have a very simple reason as to why Biden polled low in 2022 and why the trend continues. The American people do not trust Biden, because they know Biden.

Get Trump’s mug uniquely created on a mug!

Now let’s dig into those “impressive achievements”.

The 6 million figures for jobs creation is a farce. Biden benefitted from Trump-era post-covid jobs returning. CNN pointed out how Moody’s chastised Biden about projected job creation. Yes, Biden even lies about estimates.

Biden said in Michigan that, earlier this year, “a Wall Street outfit called Moody’s projected that the investments in these bills could help our economy create an additional 2 million jobs per year, every year. Two million per year. That’s going to be transformative.”

On Friday, Biden omitted the word “help.” This time, he said that Moody’s Analytics projected that the bills would produce “an additional 2 million jobs per year.”

Facts FirstBiden’s remarks were misleading – because he created the impression that Moody’s Analytics projected a much bigger jobs impact from his two new bills than Moody’s actually did. Contrary to Biden’s suggestion, Moody’s did not find that the passage of the two bills would produce an additional 2 million jobs in each successive year. In other words, Moody’s did not find that in 10 years, the economy would have 20 million extra jobs because of Biden’s bills. Rather, Moody’s found that in 10 years, the economy would have 2.2 million more jobs if the bipartisan infrastructure bill and a $3.5 trillion spending package were passed than it would if they were not passed.

As you consider Biden’s actual performance, understand that Leftists credit Biden for a non-white Cabinet. Notably, the Left don’t care about competency, as long as one’s incompetency is diverse.

And what about that deficit reduction? Again, CNN fact-checked Biden on his egregious lie:

Facts First: Biden’s boast leaves out important context. It is true that the federal deficit fell by a total of $1.7 trillion under Biden in the 2021 and 2022 fiscal years, including a record $1.4 trillion drop in 2022 – but it is highly questionable how much credit Biden deserves for this reduction. Biden did not mention that the primary reason the deficit fell so substantially was that it had skyrocketed to a record high under Trump in 2020 because of bipartisan emergency pandemic relief spending, then fell as expected as the spending expired as planned. Independent analysts say Biden’s own actions, including his laws and executive orders, have had the overall effect of adding to current and projected future deficits, not reducing those deficits.

The COVID_19 relief bill provided a horrible return-on-investment. And Biden used the additional $1.7 trillion in covid relief to pretend he lowered the budget. His budget never got close to the Trump budget, and that budget was out of control.

These are but a few examples of how Team Biden attempts to dress up his abysmal record. So I have no desire to rehash all of Biden’s failures, as they are too numerous to count.

What does bother me, however is how Biden often discusses what he’s going to do. To hear Joe Biden propose policies, you might think he’s not the president. I honestly don’t think he’s aware that he’s president.

In making his 3-minute announcement video for another run, Biden said:

“When I ran for president four years ago, I said we are in a battle for the soul of America – and we still are.”

So Biden will again restore the soul of America?

I still chuckle that the Bidens were said to “bring decency to the White House”. My quip is Decency must a stripper that Hunter Biden is dating. Because that’s as close to decency this family gets.

I dare anybody to take a look back at what Biden promised and what he delivered. Next, ask yourself if what Biden actually delivered helped or hurt America.

America will not miss Biden when he’s gone. But in contrast, we sorely miss President Trump.
