Special Counsel in some of the Trump cases, Jack Smith should have been disbarred years ago. The fact that he still practices law should embarrass the legal community and the Biden administration.
Like all the scandals for which Democrats should be in prison, Jack Smith’s torment of Donald Trump rates the highest. And that’s saying something, when you consider all the crimes committed by the Party of Lynching of Negroes.
Russian collusion was total nonsense, and it was proven to be. Worse, we learned that Hillary Clinton was behind it. But did Jack Smith go after Hillary Clinton and her henchmen?
The same is true for the J6 cabal, of which Jack Smith now plays his part in propagating the nonsense.
Typically Leftists are not challenged when they target conservatives. They merely roll over, like fraud conservative Jenna Ellis recently did, when confronted by the cabal. However, in Trump’s case, he calls out Smith routinely and shoots the finger at the injustice system.
Trump’s attitude and willingness to fight has changed Republicans, even if just a little. So in what could spell doom for Jack Smith and those he suborned in his illegal efforts, Smith must now explain himself.
As The Gateway Pundit reports,
House Republicans on Friday demanded all communications between Special Counsel Jack Smith and Merrick Garland’s DOJ about the decision to indict President Trump.
The Deep State’s hired gun Jack Smith indicted Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami in June.
Trump was charged with 31 counts of willful retention of national defense information and 6 other process crimes stemming from his conversations with his lawyer.
In August Jack Smith hit Trump with 3 additional charges in the investigation into classified documents stored at Mar-a-Lago.
The superseding indictment, filed in the Southern District of Florida, claims Trump was part of a scheme to delete security footage from Mar-a-Lago.
In September Trump was hit with 4 counts in Jack Smith’s January 6 case up in DC: Conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.
In every case against Trump, Jack Smith overreached.
People above his pay grade instructed him to figure out how to get Trump. This is the case for all 91 indictments against the former president. They have no merit.
And in a letter to Jack Smith, the House Oversight Committee wrote,
“The Supreme Court has consistently overturned criminal convictions against public officials and private parties based upon broad theories of prosecution brought under general criminal statutes. Yet you have used just such a theory in your prosecution of President Trump, relying on a general conspiracy statute to allege a conspiracy to defraud the United States. The Supreme Court has held past attempts to prosecute under such a theory exceeded the reach of the statutes on which they were based, including overly expansive definitions of “official acts.””
“The Committee is interested to learn whether the Department considered the Supreme Court’s parameters in weighing the prosecution of former President Trump and any analysis developed in determining that the use of the general conspiracy statute conformed to the precepts articulated in these cases.”
The Committee just called Smith out. Has Jack Smith used his office as a weapon against Trump? Most believe he has.
Congress requested the following:
1. All documents and communications concerning your authority to empanel a grand jury in the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia and the Southern District of Florida.
2. All documents and communications concerning your authority to offer immunity, pursuant to 18 U.S. Code § 6002, to individuals testifying before either grand jury.
3. All documents and communications concerning any oversight by the Department of Justice regarding any of these topics, specifically including, but not limited to, all documents and communications exchanged between your office and the Department concerning your decision to return an indictment of President Trump.
GOP lawmakers finally went on the offense. And more importantly, their actions back Trump. Whether or not their efforts are intentional doesn’t matter.
Jack Smith must respond by December 15 and turn over all requested documents. What orchestration did one of the worst attorneys do in his effort to get Trump? If Smith turns over documents, then we will know the cabal exists.
Leftists rarely play out their sinister plots to the end. So you can bet that Jack Smith made mistakes. And with each passing day, the people protecting Democrats wanes.
If Smith slow walks production of these documents, he’s admitting his guilt. If Smith turns over the documents, he will be proven guilty. This is the quintessential “rock and a hard place”.
Whether Smith obliges Congress or not, what will come eventually is his ousting after the next election. I suggest that Leftist plan quickly for life after the exposed coup.
