Nikki Haley has as much chance to be president of the United States as my cousin Ray Ray. But that won’t stop the Left from trying to shoe-horn her in.
The question is why?
I’m issuing a trigger warning for Haley supporters and other Leftists. Because what I have to say about her is not flattering in the least. Nikki Haley is dumb.
I’ve detailed my interaction with Haley regarding the Confederate Flag. She proudly announced that Republicans took down the flag. I told her that she should have demanded that Democrats remove the flag in that ceremony, because they instituted racism, thus it was their responsibility to rid the state of it.
She insisted that the optics of Republicans removing the flag worked better. To which I replied, “Yes, because Republicans have done such a good job of explaining how we are the Party for Blacks!”
Haley didn’t get it. She had an opportunity to make Democrats OWN slavery and the oppression of blacks but she blew it. Snowflake South Carolinians and the world missed Haley’s attempt at symbolism. Instead, they just viewed the Republicans as the party of slavery.
Haley is bad on history.
Not long ago, Haley was asked what was the cause of the Civil War. And she gave an answer only a moron would give, and one that empowered racist Democrats.
In Haley’s next, “Hold my beer!” moment, she declared that America has never been a racist country.
Below, she responds to Jake Tapper after being asked about her asinine comment.
CNN’s Jake Tapper actually handle this interview well. He didn’t pull a “gotcha” moment, but instead gave Haley a chance to set the record straight.
As my wife says, “You have one job”, when I fail to do the one thing she asked. And in this case, Tapper had one job: help Haley defeat former President Trump.
Thus, Tapper teed up a softball question for Haley in hopes she could recover from earlier comment. Haley screwed up yet again while interviewed by Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade earlier this week. As I mentioned, Haley declared that America is not and has “never been” a racist country.
The town hall event occurred in New Hampshire where Haley spends $3 million a week in order to place second. She needs this “win” in order to supplant DeSantis as the first-place loser.
Along with an outrageous spend, Haley has the support of the NeverTrump Governor of Chris Sununu New Hampshire, and the fake news media that reports that Haley and Trump are in a statistical tie. And then Haley goes on to showcase abject stupidity at Joe Biden levels.
During the town hall and in response to Haley’s idiotic earlier comment, Tapper reminded Haley:
“Protections for the institution of slavery were written into the U.S. Constitution, the White House was built with slave labor” and that Haley’s “home state of South Carolina seceded from the Union, fought a war to defend the enslavement of Black people.”
In other words, if racism didn’t exist, then why was the inhumane practice of slavery referenced in the founding documents.
Any imbecile knows that America was a racist country. And it has been racist since the founding of the Democratic Party. The Party of Lynching of Negroes and those who supported black people. The Party of the KKK, and oppression of blacks.
Tapper continued,
“I understand you don’t think America is a racist country now,” acknowledged Tapper. “But we’re here at a college. Do you really think, as a historical matter, America has never been a racist country?”
Haley showed how politically obtuse she is with her Bidenesque comment:
“It was that men are created equal with unalienable rights, right? That was what we all knew. But what I look at it as is I was a brown girl that grew up in a small, rural town. We had plenty of racism that we had to deal with, but my parents never said we lived in a racist country, and I’m so thankful they didn’t because for every brown and Black child out there, if you tell them they live or are born in a racist country, you’re immediately telling them they don’t have a chance.”
What must the elites who selected Haley as the Great Indian Hope to beat Trump be thinking now?
Let’s just say that Haley didn’t do much to help Republicans get the black vote.
Haley blows opportunities to education America on the dangers of Democrats. She could have said, “I would alter my statement to say that without Democrats America is not a racist country. After all, they are the Party of Racism, the KKK, anti-Civil Rights, Jim Crow, and many other things that have negatively impacted people of color for decades. Thankfully, my party found against them, then and we continue to now.”
The public sees through Haley. And while the Leftists want her to have a surge against Trump, it won’t happen. And things like her latest gaffe won’t help.
