How could you not want the “81 Million Vote Man” not to help in a special election. After all, isn’t Joe Biden the most popular man in America?
As Leftist news site Mediaite is forced to report, Joe Biden is persona non grata for some:
Tom Suozzi, the Democratic candidate to represent New York’s third congressional district in the House of Representatives, is all but begging President Joe Biden to steer clear of the district during a visit to New York City for a series of campaign fundraisers.
In an interview with CNN on Monday, Suozzi — who is running against Republican Mazi Pilip to replace George Santos, who was thrown out of the House in a bipartisan vote last year — said that he didn’t “think it would be helpful” if Biden came to help him campaign prior to election day next Tuesday.
Really? A sitting president who is supposed to have garnered the hearts and minds of 81 million Americans is no help? How bad must Biden be for a candidate to turn down a president?
But Suozzi really stepped in it with his next comment.
“I can pretty much guarantee the president is not going to be coming to campaign,” said Suozzi. “I don’t think it would be helpful, just as I don’t think Donald Trump would be helpful to my opponent.”
Trump wouldn’t be helpful to his opponent? Does anybody believe this?
I’d love to hear Mazi Philip’s take on this comment. Because I’d bet the farm that Philip would gladly ask Trump to come campaign with him. Only the most hardcore RINO would refuse Trump’s help. And Leftists know this.
Sure, the narrative is that Trump’s candidates don’t win, but that’s a blatant lie. Not only do many win, the others should have won had it not been for other Republicans siding with Democrats to prevent wins.
Hard to believe that Republicans would work against Trump and support Leftists, but that’s the case.
Suozzi doesn’t want Biden, because Biden is damaged goods. Biden can’t win his own election must less help somebody win theirs.
