Great News for Trump Supporters

It must feel like I’m droning on about Trump, post-debate, and perhaps I am. But it’s only because I feel giddy.

I’m happy to report, “I told you so!” to the naysayers. People who just don’t understand Trump’s appeal. Admittedly, the man can come off as Mr. Magoo some time, but in the end he wins.

Democrats have underestimated him, as they figured Trump would have been chased out of the race months ago. Remember when the cabal tried to position either DeSantis and Newsom as the heir-apparent to the throne. Trump dispatched DeSantis, and Newsom wanted no part of The Donald. In other words, the cabal lost.

In their desperation, Democrats shoe-horned in Kamala Harris. The replacement paid homage to Dorothy Parker who quipped, “You can bring a horticulture, but you can’t make her think!”

Matt Margolis of PJ Media was shocked to learn the results from a small group of Independents post-debate. And he references Reuters:

Perhaps because of what I do for a living, I’m extra critical of Donald Trump’s performance. I’ve been pointing out for days now what Trump needed to do in the debate, and seeing him miss opportunity after opportunity was beyond frustrating. But according to a report from Reuters, undecided voters largely shifted to him after the debate.

“Kamala Harris was widely seen as dominating Tuesday’s presidential debate against Republican former president Donald Trump, but a group of undecided voters remained unconvinced that the Democratic vice president was the better candidate,” the outletĀ reported.

Reuters interviewed ten undecided voters before and after a debate. Six of them shifted toward supporting Trump, three leaned toward Harris, and one remained uncertain. That’s a rather solid outcome for Trump.

“Although the sample size was small, the responses suggested Harris might need to provide more detailed policy proposals to win over voters who have yet to make up their minds,” wrote Reuters.

Did you catch that? Six out of 10 went to Trump; double what Harris got. While this is a small sample size, it shows the trend that we know exists.

The article continues,

It gets worse for Kamala.

Five said they found Harris vague during the more than 90-minute debate on how she would improve the U.S. economy and deal with the high cost of living, a top concern for voters.

The encounter was particularly important for Harris, with a weekend New York Times/Siena College opinion poll showing that more than a quarter of likely voters feel they do not know enough about her, in contrast to the well-known Trump.

I speak all the time on the psychological principle of “knowing” someone. That is Trump’s huge advantage. Not only do people know Trump, they trust him.

Let’s take a test:

Who do you trust more, Trump or Harris? Do I need to give you a trust topic? Or are you ok with almost giving Trump the blanket nod?

Well let’s drill down. Who do you trust more on handling illegal immigration? Raising your kids? Handling your money? Your safety?

If you answered Trump in most or all of these questions, then consider yourself an average American.

According to Reuters, the Trump converts trusted Trump more on the economy, even though all said they did not like him as a person. They said their personal financial situation had been better when he was president between 2017-2021.

What I find most interesting about Trump supporters is they know what they like about him.

When asked about Harris’ policies or what they like most about her, her supporters fall silent. And this is because the people really don’t know what Harris stands for. It’s a moving target. And that’s why four of those six also said Harris did not convince them she would pursue different economic policies than Biden, the person they largely blame for the high cost of living.

“I still don’t know what she is for,” said Mark Kadish, 61, an entrepreneur in Florida. “There was no real meat and bones for her plans.”

Reinforcing what I said earlier, one commenter said,

“I felt like the whole debate was Kamala Harris telling me why not to vote for Donald Trump instead of why she’s the right candidate.”

Rejoice ReTrumplicans! The news is good and will get even better for the good guys.
