Why Democrats Moved Trump's Sentencing Date

New York Governor Kathy Hochul planned to arrest and jail President Trump on September 18 of this year. She brought in the National Guard to do the work NYPD signaled it would refuse to do.

I reported at the time:

Another friend of mine, Jen Lawrence posted this video of Army personnel occupying a hotel in New York. They say they were requested by the state:

Here’s the report on the change.

President Donald Trump was scheduled to be sentenced by New York Judge Juan Merchan on September 18, 2024, less than two months before the presidential election, after being charged with dozens of crimes by leftist District Attorney Alvin Bragg and found guilty by a jury in the heavily Democratic city earlier this year.

Merchan announced Friday he is delaying Trump’s sentencing in the case until after the election and has set a new date of November 26, just two days before Thanksgiving.

Here is an X post from the actual order from Judge Merchan:

September 18 was an important date for Democrats in finalizing their attack on Trump.

After many tries to get Trump, this date would be the date they finally took Trump out. Or so they would think.

Understand that Democrats’ plans backfired multiple times in their unjustified pursuit of Trump. So did Democrats feel they would get snake-bit before the election? Perhaps. Or maybe Democrats considered the optics of sentencing Trump before sentencing Hunter Biden for real crimes?

Speaking of real crimes, Governor Hochul revealed that her and former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s assistant worked as a Chinese spy. Who knows what influence that spy had in helping craft the attack on President Trump.

Also there is the expose by Steven Crowder that a DOJ whistleblower admitted that the charges against Trump were complete bullsh*t.

And what of the crooked judge who is part of the conspiracy to get Trump?

Republicans finally turned their power in Judge Merchan’s direction, as a new ethics complaint has been filed against him over conflicts of interest. In one case, a complaint involves work his daughter did using the Trump trial for political benefit, since she fundraised on behalf of Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanie posted this on X.

“Today I filed a new judicial ethics complaint with the New York State Commission because new evidence on Kamala Harris’ most recent FEC filing shows she hired and paid Acting Justice Juan Merchan’s adult daughter’s company. This is a clear violation of the New York State Judicial Code of Conduct which dictates that a judge must recuse from a case where a relative up to and including the sixth degree has a financial interest in the outcome of the case.”

And there are other reasons to look more closely at Merchan, like his very public vitriol for Trump. But there other reasons to question the new date.

The new date is post-election. As I indicated earlier, the first date was chosen in order to reinforce the “convicted felon” narrative. Given the failure of this narrative, I suspect Democrats figured out another backfire was likely.

Further, I think Democrats realize the inevitability of the election outcome. Trump will win. Thus, he will serve his rightful second term. And when he does, the political landscape will get a titanic shift.

Imagine what the new and improved version of Trump, a DC veteran will do to look into all these crooked judges. A “Corruption Committee” established to truly drain the swamp.

Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Judge Merchan recuses himself from this case, or the case gets dismissed completely after the election.

Closing in on corruption

Trump caused Democrats to lose their minds and expose their evil nature in what most considered unimaginable ways. And as the curtain gets pulled back on each of their bogus cases, they go into “fix it” mode. This may be one way to try to shift blame to Trump.

What happens when/if Merchan sentences Trump to prison after the election. Trump would be forced to pardon himself, which has the potential to making him look bad.

I know you might be asking, “What if Trump loses the election?” If that were to happen, more than Trump would be in trouble. And since I know there is no possibility of this happening despite the massive cheating by Democrats, I won’t worry about speculating on that.
