Did Tim Walz Get Caught in Another Lie?

Tim Walz appears to have been caught in another lie. And all in an effort to appear to be Joe America, and relate to the working man.

We’ve learned that Walz lied about his rank in the military as well as his role in combat. Walz wasn’t a Command Sergeant Major, and he never was in harm’s way as he implied in what he would call innocent excitement when talking about a subject. What did he call himself again, a “goof ball”?

Walz also lied about being in China during the Tiananmen Square revolution. Again, Walz downplays his attempt to make his appearance in China more spectacular than it was, by saying he “got the dates wrong”. Sure. And he got the context wrong, as he tried to make it sound like he was part of a historical moment, when he clearly was not.

But such is Walz. And now it appears that perhaps Walz isn’t quite as much as a hunting enthusiast as he proclaims.

Walz doesn’t appear to know how to operate his own weapon. For a man who claims to be a man of the land and avid hunter, he certainly looked inept with that shotgun.

I read that at one point Walz didn’t even have a weapon, and he was lampooned by readers who asked how he was going to hunt pheasant without a weapon. Clearly all Walz wanted was a photo op to appear to be bonding with the common man. Backfire.

Is lying about guns contagious with Democrats?

Democrats lie often about guns. Many prominent Democrats carry weapons, but decry guns for “gen pop”. And when they aren’t concealing their weapons, their lying about how much they actually know about weapons.

In the case of Walz, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the political tree apparently. Here is Walz’ boss, Kamala Harris on 60 Minutes discussing her gun ownership:

For the record, nobody says what kind of gun they own by announcing just the manufacturer.

There are at least 20 models of Glock offering based on ammunition and function. So real gun owners say, “I own a Glock 17 or a Glock 45,” for example. If you say, “I own a Remington”, people have no idea if you’re talking about a weapon or a statue.

But Harris tipped her hand far worse about her lack of gun knowledge when she was asked about shooting her weapon. She was asked this question on 60 Minutes, and she laughingly said that she has shot her weapon often; at the gun range. And what about this train wreck interview with Politico, when Harris was asked the simple question of, “When did you last shoot your gun?”

“I’m a good marksman! {cackle}”

Harris quickly wanted to get off the subject of her weapon, because she knew she lied. She knows nothing about guns, except what she’s heard in the media. Any further questioning would have exposed her ignorance to weapons.

Her interview reminded me of the one she did where she was asked about drug use. She claimed to smoke marijuana in college while listening to Snoop and Tupac. The bad news is neither of these guys had produced any music at the time when Harris was in college.

People posted the gun they believe Harris was referencing:

Don’t think that Harris’ lack of knowledge of weapons would stop her from wanting to eradicate the 2nd Amendment. Since when do Leftists need knowledge of a subject to be experts?

What can you believe about Harris or Walz? When it comes to protecting the Constitution, believe nothing. But in evaluating them, believe their track records. Things like allowing massive illegal immigration and putting tampons in the boys’ bathrooms.
