Heard of the HMPV virus? Likely not. But if they could have sold it again, the Democrats wouldn’t have let another relatively benign virus go to waste.
Human metapneumovirus (HMPV) would be another scary “Covid Variant”? The reasons why the Left didn’t sell it that way is simple.
First, the public recognizes the ruse. Second. The money train for covid ran out of steam. Enter HMPV, the sequel nobody asked for, and just in time to shake up flu season.
According to the CDC, they’re monitoring a spike in human metapneumovirus (HMPV) cases in China. I remember this being exactly how we were introduced to covid–the virus that would kill us all. And while there are “spikes” in HMPV in the U.S., be not afraid. Because this new non-variant-variant of covid is about as scary as a paper cut.
Still, the CDC felt the need to warn us about a new virus that is as deadly as the common cold. “What’s behind the sudden rise, one might ask?” Well, I’m no epidemiologist, but I’d venture a wild guess: winter.
Global climate farce give us yet another virus to roll our eyes at. Here’s the official word from the CDC:
“We’re aware of increasing HMPV cases in northern China,” they say, pointing to Beijing-run media reporting higher positivity rates among kids under 14. But, they assure us, U.S. cases remain at “pre-pandemic levels” and are not cause for concern.
So this virus doesn’t target the most vulnerable, i.e. newborns and the very old?
No, this virus takes on kids under 14. This would be the most selective virus in history. And I’m not buying it, because all disease impacts older people. Disease knows how to cull the herd.
Check out the symptoms of HMPV according to the Cleveland Clinic:
“HMPV is a respiratory disease causing cough, fever, congestion, runny nose, sore throat, and shortness of breath.”
So, basically the symptoms of HMPV mimic every cold you’ve ever had in your life. Turns out, this “novel” virus was first discovered in 2001. And because colds happen every flu season every year, the CDC naturally swooped in to tell us it’s not the common cold, even though…well, it kind of is.
Nobody Fears Covid
Surveys from the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 indicated significant levels of fear and anxiety related to contracting the virus. And that’s because the government wanted us completely panicked.
For instance, a March 2020 poll by the American Psychiatric Association found that more than one-third of Americans (36%) felt the coronavirus was having a serious impact on their mental health, and 59% believed it was seriously affecting their daily lives.
Additionally, a study published in 2022 reported that 71% of college students experienced increased stress and anxiety during the pandemic, with concerns about their own health and that of loved ones being significant stressors.
As the pandemic progressed, the global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased by 25% in the first year, according to a scientific brief released by the World Health Organization.
Fast-forward to today and reports suggest a decline in fear and a shift in public perception. For example, an October 2024 report indicated that Australians have become more distrustful of government measures and are less likely to comply with strict health measures in future pandemics, suggesting a decrease in fear or concern about contracting COVID-19. Aussies have no trust for their government or lockdowns.
Was HMPV discovered at a fish market? Did a penguin sneeze on a pangolin this time? The possibilities are endless, except bat has been used.
Too bad Democrats couldn’t sell this latest “outbreak”. Even they realized that America wouldn’t take a second bite of the lockdown apple. Also, I think Democrats were smart enough to realize that Kamala Harris wasn’t going to beat President Trump with ten new viruses.
As I reflect on all the hype on covid, things like death rates, hospitalizations, and much more, I get angry. Add in the vaccines and all the people who died from the vaccines, and those whose lives are changed forever and not for the better, and you see why so many people want Fauci and his supporting surrogates in prison.
