I am floored by the programs at the UN which are funded by American taxpayers. I learned that the International Organization for Migration fired 3,000 workers. I’m not sure what their pay was, but having an organization that puts out 3,000 pink slips because it lost its funding via USAID, aka the American taxpayer, makes me take pause.

The International Organization for Migration, or IOM, sent out pink slips — notice of dismissal from employment — to 3,000 employees working on a United States resettlement program, including hundreds based at home in the latest blow to an aid and development community reeling from the Trump administration’s foreign aid funding freeze.
“The loss of funding from the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, USRAP, meant we had to notify about 3,000 of our colleagues that their jobs will be ending,” Amy Pope, IOM’s director general, told staff in an internal newsletter last week. She said that further cuts are likely.
File this under “Not America’s Problem.”
Why is their funding so tied to America? Where are the Russians, the Chinese, the Brits, or any other countries?
When you consider how Biden dropped these “migrants” into American small towns and wreaked havoc on them, the saying “Good riddance!” comes to mind.
How nice it’s been for these NGOs to live off the theft of American taxpayer funds, knowing they could make these massive payrolls and simultaneously affect regime change in America. Meanwhile, real entrepreneurs actually providing needed products or services struggle monthly to make payroll. Many of them watch their tax dollars squandered on efforts such as these, which represent little more than money laundering for Leftist causes and Democrat campaigns.
Each time I see that DOGE has uncovered one of these fraud organizations, I cheer openly. How long has this been going on?
Consider the time it takes to staff 3,000 people. Comfortably. To know that you won’t have a problem making payroll, and you don’t have to do one second of innovation or fundraising. Just make sure that you funnel enough money back to the Democrats to keep the money flowing, and you get your money, plus those annual budget increases.
This was just one of many cuts Trump made, pulling the plug on taxpayer-funded globalist schemes designed to undermine the country footing the bill. In 2017, Trump withdrew from the UN’s bloated Global Compact on Migration, a blueprint for unchecked migration that other nations were happy to support—just not pay for. The administration also froze funds to the UN Population Fund, which was accused of backing coercive abortions and sterilizations in China. The message was clear: America would no longer bankroll initiatives that contradicted its interests.
Another prime example was Trump’s decision to slash funding to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), a refugee program that had long since morphed into a breeding ground for anti-American and anti-Israel sentiment. The agency was a sacred cow for Leftists who masquerade as humanitarians while using these programs as ideological petri dishes. Cutting its funding not only reduced waste but forced the world to confront the reality that America wasn’t an unlimited ATM.
Note how all these programs get benign-sounding names that hide their sinister activities.
Case in point: USAID, which is a CIA slush fund. DOGE slashed funds to USAID programs that, rather than promoting democracy, seemed more focused on exporting progressive ideology. Millions of dollars once poured into leftist NGOs pushing gender ideology and racial grievance studies under the guise of “development.” The cuts exposed a deep truth: many of these organizations were not about humanitarianism; they were about indoctrination.
The U.S. Department of Education wasn’t spared either. Under Trump, the administration targeted so-called “educational” grants that had turned universities into breeding grounds for globalist propaganda. The crackdown on Confucius Institutes—Chinese Communist Party-funded outposts masquerading as cultural centers—was part of a larger push to dismantle foreign influence in American schools. Leftists, of course, decried this as xenophobic. But when did defending national sovereignty become an act of bigotry?
The list goes on. Trump’s cuts to the World Health Organization (WHO) infuriated global elites, but why should Americans foot the bill for an organization that bent over backward to cover for China’s COVID lies? Defunding WHO was the logical consequence of its betrayal.
President Trump turned of autopilot
Leftism had indeed been on autopilot, a steady siphon of American wealth into projects that weakened the country from within. Many NGOs were set up to receive money year over year, their true purpose not to aid America but to dissolve its borders, erode its values, and burden its economy with ideological nonsense.
While America appreciates all cultures, the disrespect shown for ours was as subtle as a tornado siren. Our tax dollars have subsidized the very movements that sought to dismantle our history, rewrite our identity, and undermine our sovereignty. And the irony? It was all done under the guise of “aid” and “progress.”
Thank GOD for the cheating, conniving Democrats who stopped him in 2020. GOD bless every one of those scoundrels, because they planned—and God laughed.
