When Black Female Democrats Politicians Becomes First-Class Felons

The Sweet Irony of Trailblazing Corruption

Instead of a regal coronation, Black female Democrats politicians seem to prefer a clown parade in front of the jury box.

I remember the days when Black ‘firsts’ were jewels shimmering in the community’s crown. Maggie Walker, the first female bank president in the U.S., Sojourner Truth, whose “Ain’t I a Woman?” shook foundations, Althea Gibson, swinging her racket into the Wimbledon courts—women we lifted onto pedestals.

They forged enduring legacies through hardship and heroism. Those were the milestone makers, not headline makers.

Modern Paragons or Puff Pieces?

Fast forward to now, when Black Leftists seem to think stepping into office automatically qualifies you for sainthood—and our Rosa Parks reference shelf gets overcrowded.

Letitia James, Fani Willis, et al have become the mascots of Black moral superiority. Cue the conga line of hypocrisy. These examples of Black Leftist female modern icons represent anything but.

Let’s take a look at this recent Black female (Leftist) trailblazer with the thought, “If Fani Willis had a sister”.

LaToya Cantrell – Mayor of New Orleans

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell. The first Black female of New Orleans in 300 years is our subject. And how did she honor distinction of being a first? With a scandal.

As reported here,

Months before New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell was set to leave office because of term limits, she has been indicted in what prosecutors allege was a yearslong scheme to conceal a romantic relationship with her bodyguard.

Prosecutors say bodyguard Jeffrey Vappie was being paid as if he was working when he and Cantrell were really alone in apartments and visiting vineyards, hiding their communication by sending encrypted messages through WhatsApp and then deleting them. Although the pair have said their relationship was strictly professional, the indictment described it as “personal and intimate.”

She’s been charged with conspiracy, fraud and obstruction. And if that’s not bad enough, look at the example the mayor set with her “companion”.

Vappie was already facing charges of wire fraud and making false statements, though he has pleaded not guilty. Regardless, a grand jury returned an 18-count indictment Friday that added Cantrell to the case.
