Democrats Bet the Farm on Immigration and Lost

Welcome to the greatest political irony in modern memory: a party so scheming it tried to import voters, only to ignite a self-deportation frenzy.

Democrats bet the farm on immigration and now Trump is repossessing it and turning it into a golf resort.

Trump’s deportation drama has skyrocketed—while Democrats squeal like they just found out Santa isn’t real. It’s a Houdini-level escape from electoral fate, followed by a meltdown so melodramatic even daytime soap operas are taking notes. Buckle up—this one’s unapologetically savage.

Democrats apparently thought importing illegals was their secret voter origami—fold ’em right, suddenly the Left would have a blossoming bloc of loyal ballots. But then came a little twist—Trump’s deportation machine induced them to pack it in. Democrats lost their grip, dropped the craft, and started shrieking.

As Red State pointed out,

Democrats have convenient and useless excuses about President Trump’s deportations. They are losing it, because their scheme to get illegals to fill our voter rolls backfired when they couldn’t stop Trump from becoming president. Red State reports on the numbers.

“The Department of Homeland Security is counting coup on a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, noting that 1.6 million illegal aliens have left the United States, most of them voluntarily, and many Democrats are red-faced and screeching angrily about that.

The statistics, from the Center for Immigration Studies, indicate that self-deportations are driving the trend. The federal government has provided financial incentives for illegal immigrants to leave and has run advertisements telling them they can only apply to return if they leave voluntarily.”

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement on recently,

“In less than 200 days, 1.6 MILLION illegal immigrants have left the United States population. This is massive. This means safer streets, taxpayer savings, pressure off of schools and hospital services and better job opportunities for Americans. Thank you, President Trump!?”

At this rate, how long will it take before 20 million illegals to be gone?

I did the math: 6.8 years. I’m betting it happens sooner than that. The good news is that we don’t need to get rid of them all before making a serious dent in the Democrats’ failed scheme.

How many seats will Trump’s successful ploy cost the Democrats in the House? Moreover, what will it cost them in the long run.

The Self-Deportation Phenomenon

Voluntary—or “self-” deportations—aren’t exactly novel. During the Great Depression, “repatriation” campaigns encouraged (some would say coerced) Mexican immigrants to leave—they were “self-deporting,” too, except with historical government pressure. Remember who was president then? FDR. But don’t expect the Left to bring their Democrat icon up. We didn’t exactly have a massive invasion caused by Republicans.

The Voter Base Rollercoaster

Democrats long believed an influx of new arrivals equals new voters—fast-forward: self-deportation erasing that base faster than ghosting on a bad date. Think of it like investing in stock—only for the market to tank while you’re still touting bullish optimism.

Hypocrisy Highlights

Enter the excuses. First up: Gavin Newsom. Newsom’s office told Fox News Digital in an email.

“WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY WEAK LITTLE DONALD TRUMP, THE CRIMINAL PRESIDENT!”

One guess who the ‘weak little’ one is.

Then there’s NYC Council Member Natasha Williams going full melodrama:

“When I look at the visuals of ICE agents masked on the street, taking people from their homes, taking people who are rightfully showing up for court. It reminds me of something that some of my ancestors had to go through, which is the KKK.”

Wow—comparing masked legal agents to the KKK? Historical context: the KKK was a domestic terror group enforcing segregation—ICE is enforcing federal law. You can feel offended, but let’s not gaslight history.

Finally, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz:

“I’m gonna start with the flashing red light — Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets… Just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared.”

Hello—Gestapo was Nazi secret police. Now compare them to U.S. immigration enforcement, who actually post rationales and schedules and paperwork.

The irony is sweeter than a Machiavellian merry-go-round:

Democrats built their voter pipeline on imported ballots—and then were blindsided when the pipeline reversed itself. Now they’re making excuses so wild even satire writers RSVP “please, no more.” Comparing ICE to the KKK or Gestapo isn’t outraged; it’s unhinged.

This arc—from scheming voter import strategy to hysterical excuses—might just be the ultimate Democrat boomerang. Still, there’s more.

We learned that for the first time in 50 years the immigrant population in America has gone down.

According to the nonpartisan Pew Research Center, 51.9 million immigrants called the US home as of June. This number is down from 53.3 million when Trump was inaugurated for his rightful and delayed second term.

Adding to the woes of the Democrats is the announcement by the State Department that all 55 million immigrants with active US visas would be investigated for violations that could lead to them being deported.

Consider all the people who will get caught up in that dragnet? How many Democrats will lose money in their cottage industries of working with foreign governments to allow spies? Or what of those who will lose money from the crackdown on human-trafficking, drug smuggling. The ripple effect of cracking down on immigration, both legal and illegal, will hurt Democrats for at least a decade.

Vaya con Dios, Democrats.
