Harvey Weinstein Seeks To “Change The World” With Sexual Assault
With the list of victims up to 80 women, Harvey Weinstein feels the pressure to come up with an excuse that will allow him to continue life as he knew it.
Each victim’s story emphasizes the moral depravity of Hollywood. Further, Hollywood showcased its hypocrisy, as Tinseltown looked the other way on Weinstein’s activities.
While Hollywood tries to figure out its penance, Weinstein seems to have figured out how he will “change the world.”
“Disgraced Harvey Weinstein’s been telling what friends he has left that there’s a bigger reason he’s embroiled in his ever-widening sexual harassment scandal: to “change the world,” sources tell Page Six.
“Harvey believes he is a savior,” a Hollywood insider says.
The source adds that the pervy former Weinstein Co. and Miramax macher has been telling confidantes “that he was born to take the fall for his behavior in order to ‘change the world.’ He is resigned to his punishment — as a martyr for social change.”
Seriously? Leave it to a Democrat Leftist like Weinstein to justify decades of abusing and using women as some sort of higher calling. Soon we will be told that Weinstein found religion in rehad. Thus, he will abruptly leave to study Judaism.
He will emerge a professor of theology and expert in the Torah. A few years later Weinstein will return to rehab where he will admit that he studied theology in university, because “that’s where the chicks were”.
How does Weinstein expect people to believe that his sickness is a lesson for others. You can’t even argue that getting caught is what taught him a lesson, given his history. From all indications, Weinstein liked hiding in plain sight.
Look at the party pictures year after year.
You see the same young women who now accuse Weinstein of sexual abuse in picture after picture. And don’t be surprised to learn that Weinstein has lots of photo albums he peruses often, looking at his “trophies”. I’m sure the man got some morbid satisfaction out of making his sexual conquests into bona fide stars.
What a revelation for the world to see all of the stars Weinstein created and now know how they got there. One can only imagine how these women broke the stories to their spouses or children, once the news broke of Weinstein. And whether these women hit the casting couch or not, all women who worked with Weinstein were tainted.
Further, what of his enablers? They too are tainted. Because nobody can say they didn’t know about Harvey Weinstein’s actions. Again, this is true whether you knew it or not. If you have Weinstein on your resume, you might as well add “Pimp”.
So perhaps Weinstein has changed the world. More Hollywood big wigs are beginning to be outed. I think this story and others like it will be around for some time, as Hollywood gets bolder. It seems that progressives find themselves under the microscope. And people don’t like having that close of a look.
