Chris Matthews: Were Sexual Harassment Payoffs Part of His Contract?
Chris Matthews apparently had more than a tingle running up his leg at times.
Remember when the Leftists fake news anchor mentioned the tingle he gets when Obama speaks?
Now the MSNBC anchor proves its not just Obama who turns him on, but also assistant producers for his show.
As The Daily Caller reports,
An MSNBC spokesman confirmed Saturday the company made a separation-related payment to one of Chris Matthews employees after the woman complained about sexual harassment.
Two sources familiar with the situation told The Daily Caller that Matthews paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show, “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” in 1999 after she accused him of harassment. An MSNBC spokesperson contested that claim to the Caller, saying the company instead paid significantly less as part of a severance package.
The woman complained to CNBC executives about Matthews making inappropriate comments and jokes about her while in the company of others.
The MSNBC spokesman said that they thoroughly reviewed the situation at the time and that Matthews received a formal reprimand. Based on people who were involved in matter, the network concluded that the comments were inappropriate and juvenile but were not intended to be taken as propositions.
The woman received separation-related compensation when she left MSNBC and has gone on to work in a number of high-profile media positions. MSNBC declined to comment on whether the employee left because of Matthews or whether this was the only claim in Matthews’ history at the company.
Matthews has been the host of “Hardball” since 1997 and also hosted “The Chris Matthews Show” from 2002 to 2013.
If 2017 has taught Americans anything it’s that Leftists of all ilks are lewd. Moreover, they willing pay for the privilege.
Interestingly, Leftists get others to pay for their “dirty work”.
And in the case of some of them, they write lewdness into their contracts.
Hollywood knows how things work. Because, where else can you make sexual harassment part of your employment agreement?
As TMZ reports,
According to the contract, if Weinstein “treated someone improperly in violation of the company’s Code of Conduct,” he must reimburse TWC for settlements or judgments. Additionally, “You [Weinstein] will pay the company liquidated damages of $250,000 for the first such instance, $500,000 for the second such instance, $750,000 for the third such instance, and $1,000,000 for each additional instance.”
The contract says as long as Weinstein pays, it constitutes a “cure” for the misconduct and no further action can be taken. Translation — Weinstein could be sued over and over and as long as he wrote a check, he keeps his job.
Does such as agreement exist anywhere in THE REAL WORLD?
Does Chris Matthews have such an agreement?
I’m curious to see how the fake news media handles this revelation. Because when Fox News had such scandals, they were blown completely out of proportion. Roger Ailes was vilified, as was Bill O’Reilly. Both men lost their jobs.
And we’ve seen how these types of allegations have cause a ripple even throughout the lamestream media.
The most notable media takedown occurred with Matt Lauer.
Now we’ve learned from Variety of even more allegations of sexual misconduct by Lauer.
As the co-host of NBC’s “Today,” Matt Lauer once gave a colleague a sex toy as a present. It included an explicit note about how he wanted to use it on her, which left her mortified.
On another day, he summoned a different female employee to his office, and then dropped his pants, showing her his penis. After the employee declined to do anything, visibly shaken, he reprimanded her for not engaging in a sexual act.
He would sometimes quiz female producers about who they’d slept with, offering to trade names. And he loved to engage in a crass quiz game with men and women in the office: “f—, marry, or kill,” in which he would identify the female co-hosts that he’d most like to sleep with.

Savor the irony, folks. It just doesn’t get much better than this – except that with all the media figures accustomed to pontificating on air now exposed as harassers themselves, and with all those video recordings archived in the vaults of broadcasters and YouTube, there surely will be more gems like the short video embedded below coming along. Charlie Rose, after all, has been in the business of condescending to us for decades.

According to the Hollywood Reporter,
The public broadcaster is indefinitely suspending distribution of the talk show in light of allegations against its host.
PBS is suspending distribution of late-night talk show Tavis Smiley following sexual misconduct claims levied against its host.
The decision comes after the public broadcaster conducted an investigation into Smiley and found “credible allegations” of inappropriate behavior.
“Effective today, PBS has indefinitely suspended distribution of Tavis Smiley, produced by TS Media, an independent production company,” a PBS spokesperson said Wednesday in a statement. “PBS engaged an outside law firm to conduct an investigation immediately after learning of troubling allegations regarding Mr. Smiley. This investigation included interviews with witnesses as well as with Mr. Smiley. The inquiry uncovered multiple, credible allegations of conduct that is inconsistent with the values and standards of PBS, and the totality of this information led to today’s decision.”
Will Chris Matthews survive. Or will he make room for yet another Leftist female fake news anchor? Time will tell.
