When the Democrats weren’t paying “climate scientists” to make up false data, they were also using “fake math”…
A recent global warming study, put forward results suggesting global warming was much worse than previously believed.
Based on a new method of measuring the ocean’s absorption of heat, researchers concluded that 60% more heat had been absorbed than previously thought.
Turns out, the study is based on incorrect math!
Nonetheless, major media outlets media fawned over the results! Thus, they sounded the alarm on global warming. The Washington Post, for example, reported the work suggested “Earth could be set to warm even faster than predicted.”
Additionally, the New York Times claimed the study suggested global warming “has been more closely in line with scientists’ worst-case scenarios.”
Shortly after articles based on erroneous math were circulated the web, independent UK-based researcher Nicholas Lewis published a blog post, claiming he had found a “major problem” with the research.
“So far as I can see, their method vastly underestimates the uncertainty,” Lewis said in an interview Tuesday, “as well as biasing up significantly, nearly 30 percent, the central estimate.”
Lewis added that he tends “to read a large number of papers, and, having a mathematics as well as a physics background, I tend to look at them quite carefully, and see if they make sense. And where they don’t make sense — with this one, it’s fairly obvious it didn’t make sense — I look into them more deeply.”
Remember when Hillary Clinton said her husband brought “math” to DC?
Yep, remedial math. And the Affirmative Action president accepted the “new math” and ran with the numbers.
But, math isn’t a prerequisite for a Marxist climatology degree, gender studies, or white privilege. But praise of Chairman Mao will boost any liberal to a 4.0 grade average these days.
Sadly, all this creative adding doesn’t add up. In fact, several month ago, we chronicled the moment when Al Gore was confronted over his failed Global Warming theories.
As Tiffany Layne wrote:
In an interview between Chris Wallace and Al Gore, a look was taken at Gore’s 2006 documentary.
Remember when Gore warned us that if the world didn’t take drastic measures, we’d reach the point of no return within a decade?
In fact, I think Gore touted man-made global warming as a “true planetary emergency” in his publicity pieces for the movie. Eleven years later, Gore’s claims about global warming are as valid as his claim to have invented the Internet.
Many predictions made by Gore and other scientists flopped. And as early as the 1970s, climate change should have been seen for what it was: a political scam.
The 1975 Newsweek article entitled “The Cooling World,” claimed Earth’s temperature had been plunging for decades because of human activity. That article actually suggested we try to melt the Arctic Ice Cap with black soot. In fact, Obama’s ‘science czar’ John Holdren was one of the top global cooling believers. Ironically, he predicted that over-population and starvation would lead to a new Ice Age.
By Holdren’s predictions, millions of people were going to die by 2020 in carbon-dioxide induced famines of this new Ice Age.
People forgot about the global cooling of the ’70s and the Ice Age that never happened.
But that’s not the only climate theory that is a total bust.
In 2007, Gore predicted that the summer artic ice at the North Pole would disappear by 2013.
Of course it didn’t happen either. But Gore refuses to admit the error of his thinking. In fact, he continues to defend his predictions.
He also claimed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa would lose it’s snow-pack by 2016. Again, it hasn’t happened. In fact, it’s not even close.
But instead of facing the facts about the Climate Change farce, Gore dug in and defended his predictions further. And why? Because climate change is a money maker.
Obama and his minions hid more than $77 billion in climate change funds.
In 2013, the Congressional Research Service concluded 18 agencies had climate-related activities. Trump’s biggest challenges will be finding those hidden funds and putting them to better use. Meanwhile, watching Al Gore as every single claim he ever made is dismantled piece by piece will be quite entertaining.
It’s a tough go for people who don’t believe in the hype around climate change.
It’s very difficult for many people to stand against climate change theories because the media invested 20 years in driving the ideas that the oceans are rising, the polar bears are dying, the ice is melting, that storms are going to sweep the earth and that we’re all gonna die of a heat wave. And people are afraid to trust their own common sense.
It feels better to rely on scientists. But these “scientists” depend on research grants from the government. How much taxpayer money do you think they’d get if they said “The environment, and life in general, is better today than it was 30 or 50 years ago and exponentially better for majority of people than 100 years ago.”?
They only get your confiscated earnings when they cry wolf.
Pessimism sells. Crisis grabs attention spans immediately. So why tell the truth to begin with?
