Leftists gloat about the trade deficit which rose to the highest level ever. But what they won’t explain is why.
The Chinese Wuflu is the problem. Because when people aren’t working, America produces no products. However, we still need products as part of our own lives. And believe it or not, China remained our biggest supplier.
Funny how giving the world Wuflu actually helped the Chinese and hurt other nations. So you see why Leftists smiled with glee at the news that America suffers.
But as with all things, President Trump doesn’t take things lightly when it impacts America. And he authorized a historic tariff collection on 18 countries. According to the administration, these 18 countries participated in dumping goods into the U.S. market.
Fox Business reported:
U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross says the U.S. will collect tariffs on $1.96 billion worth of aluminum sheet from 18 countries after determining the goods were unfairly dumped here, the broadest trade enforcement action by the agency in more than two decades.
Collection of the duties on imports from nations including Germany, Bahrain and Oman will go into effect immediately, even though the department’s determination was preliminary, Ross said. The U.S. International Trade Commission is expected to make a final determination in February 2021, he said.
“This is the largest and most far-reaching case that our department has brought in more than 20 years,” Ross said Friday morning during an interview with FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo.
Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey were also affected.
So the world has yet again been put on notice. More importantly, so have Leftist governors in America content on keeping their economies shut down.
President Trump uncovered their plot to undermine his economic boom, as Democrat governors plotted with Pelosi to intentionally torpedo the economy. The plan entailed getting “stimulus” funding to these states as payback for trying to hurt President Trump.
President Trump halted all talks of additional stimulus until after his re-election. And you can bet that he will play hardball in his second term.
Per the Constitution, President Trump protects America from enemies foreign or domestic.
Democrats intentionally hurt their constituents in their zeal to hurt President Trump. In a word, evil. But like those 18 countries dumping in our markets, Democrats will lose in the long run.
