Post Trump: CNN Loses HALF its Audience

Network and cable television are “dead man walking”. And CNN showcases this better than most.

While almost all the shows show a loss in audience, CNN’s loss is particularly striking. As Fox News reports:

CNN has been hemorrhaging viewers since President Biden took office, with ratings down more than 50 percent in multiple categories since Inauguration Day.

The liberal network spent years attacking former President Donald Trump and the network thrived during his final days in office amid a brief post-election spike. CNN averaged 2.2 million viewers during the first three weeks of 2021, but it has averaged just one million viewers since Biden took office, a staggering decline of 54 percent.

Ouch. Pretty soon CNN may actually admit to being part of The Big Cheat, just to save their own well-beaten asses.

The article continues explaining CNN’s problems. Yes, they get worse:

CNN’s struggles are even more prominent among the key advertising demographic of adults age 25-54, with a drop of 60 percent. It averaged 617,000 demo viewers from Dec. 28 through Inauguration Day but only 244,000 since Biden entered the White House.

Put another way, Trump brought the goods. So much so, even the coveted demo of 25-54 watched the man. Stats don’t lie. Don’t believe me, just look at CNN’s Leftist primetime lineup of Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon. All their shows are in triage.

CNN averaged 3.1 million viewers from 8-11 p.m. from Dec. 28 through Inauguration Day but only 1.4 million since for a whopping 55-percent decline. Over the same time period, CNN’s primetime lineup lost 63 percent of its viewers among the crucial demo.

I spoke with a few social media friends recently, and learned that Stephen Crowder was the most-watched show on election night, eclipsing all the Left-wing cable channels combined! On that particularly night, Facebook cut Crowder’s feed or he probably would have beaten Fox News.

While Crowder is a behemoth on YouTube and now a part of The Blaze, he’s not the only social media juggernaut.

There are at least three people who command larger audiences than the cable news networks, or even the “entertainment” networks. The late-night talk show hosts only wish they could get the YouTube numbers of Crowder, et al.

Expect others (like me!) to enter the fray soon, as we produce shows to compete with the new media giants like Crowder.

As for the Leftwing, Gestapo media and social media, they know their days are numbered. Their cancel-culture represents the desperate cry of a dying media.
