It’s like the Limbo at your cousin Vinny’s wedding, the bar just keeps on getting closer to the ground.
Poor Biden wasn’t prepared for his awful ratings anymore than he was prepared to run this country. Which is exactly why his approval ratings get worse with each passing day. And that has progressives in his own party ready to pounce come midterms. In fact, several progressives plan to challenge Biden, citing that “Biden is ‘deeply unpopular’ and ‘old as s—.'”
I don’t recall ever seeing a serious contender challenge the president during midterm elections. But just as the Big Cheat was a shocking twist, so might be the midterms. Heaven knows we need a shake up to save this ship from sinking.
As Fox News explains:
“Will there be a progressive challenger? Yes,” Jeff Weaver, a former presidential campaign manager for Sen. Bernie Sanders said.
Some believe that Nina Turner or former 2020 presidential candidate Marianne Williamson might challenge President Biden.
In describing President Biden, another progressive strategist said that he’s “deeply unpopular” and “old as s—.”
“He’s deeply unpopular. He’s old as s—. He’s largely been ineffective, unless we’re counting judges or whatever the hell inside-baseball scorecard we’re using. And I think he’ll probably get demolished in the midterms,” Corbin Trent, former communications director for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and co-founder of No Excuses PAC said.
Build Back Better? Or Go for Broke?
Did SCOTUS make the right decision on medical mandates for large businesses?
Biden pretends his goal is to build back better. Of course if that were the goal, he would’ve simply kept Trump’s policies in place and rode the wave of winning. Instead, he worked to undo every single Trump change. Then he came up with “build back better,” which is code for “total annihilation.”
At first, Democrats pretended to be optimistic. But at this point, we’ve seen the results of Biden’s policies. We can start with the massive screw-up in Afghanistan. Then we have to address the failing economy, the crash and burn of our energy independence, and the supply chain issues. No matter what you measure, Biden’s made it worse.
Progressive activists are also beginning to blame the president for his inaction on issues such as climate change.
Between Dec. 25 and Jan. 1, a group called “Occupy Biden” formed a camp near President Biden’s residence in Delaware, demanding that he declare a “climate emergency.” A spokesperson for the group criticized President Biden for not doing enough when it comes to climate change.
As we know, climate change is leftist to the core, so Biden failing on that platform is a gigantic point of contention. And whether or not there is a 2022 challenger, there is definitely a disgruntled America waiting for 2024. No matter how many democrats pretend Biden is sitting pretty for re-election, the truth is easy to sniff out. In fact, his chances smell a lot like a fish that’s been sitting on the shore for five days in the Texas sun.
