The audience for the Grammy’s and other Hollyweird elitist shows shrinks each year. And it’s not different for “Hollywood for ugly people”, aka DC.
The sh*t show being put on by the Democrats to rationalize their theft of the 2020 Presidential Election proves to be less popular than their California glitzy counterparts.
Audience analytics firm Nielsen doesn’t have great preliminary results.
According to the New York Times, the number of people watching this farce pales in comparison to the number of viewers who watch presidential debates, for example. Audience sizes can range from 63 million to 73 million, particularly if Trump was involved. And sadly for Democrats, the J6 farce attracted fewer viewers than Joe Biden’s State of the Union address (38 million).
Nielsen estimates that about 20 million viewers tuned in for the J6 farce. Understand that these hearing were broadcasted across eight networks. Yet the numbers don’t equate to a single network’s broadcast of a popular sitcom or a decent sporting event.
Fox News chose to ignore the hearings, one of the few moves I can appreciate by Fox. Clearly, the hearings would have experienced bigger numbers had Fox News participated.
The mainstream media was quick to attack Fox.
In fact, Rolling Stone put it this way:
The first Jan. 6 committee hearing on Thursday night was one of the biggest news stories of the year. Fox News decided not to cover it live, instead letting their primetime lineup of propaganda pushers distort and minimize the committee’s findings — just like they do every night with everything else that happens in America.
There’s only one way these networks could get more viewers. And that’s if Donald Trump was testifying, and allowed to speak his mind freely.
Nevertheless, the fake news networks did their part to pick up the slack. And by network, here are the results:
- ABC finished in first place 4.8 million viewers.
- MSNBC attracted 4.2 million.
- NBC and CBS each had just over 3 million.
- CNN was the clear loser with just 2.6 million viewers.
Fox News maintained its average audience of about 3 million. And hosts Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity dedicated their shows to the topic of the hearings, providing commentary as the hearings went along.
Tucker Carlson commented on the farce,
“It’s deranged, and we’re not playing along . This is the only hour on an American news channel that will not be carrying their propaganda live. They are lying, and we are not going to help them do it. What we will do instead is to try to tell you the truth.”
Bored to Tears
If for some reason, you’re having trouble falling asleep, or you just enjoy watching the bullshitters, PBS is probably the closest thing we have to unbiased coverage.
But don’t let your Sesame Street memories fool you. Even PBS gets sucked into the leftist agenda from time to time.
Clearly the Democrats’ strategy is to pretend that this farce provides legitimacy for their actions. But the public is not buying it.
Hold firm, Conservatives. Continue to shout from the rafters that Democrats stole the 2020 Presidential (and other) Election. Because that is a fact.
