Mainstream Media Giant is Now Leading Hypocrite

“Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.”

For those fans of the beloved 1939 classic film, “The Wizard of Oz,” we remember that famous scene all too well. Near the end of the film, Dorothy, Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow have all returned to face the ‘Great and Powerful Oz’, having completed the task required so that he might grant their requests. Rather than fulfil his promise, the wizard berates and impugns our heroes, insisting they come back tomorrow.

Frightened by such theatrics, Dorothy’s dog Toto runs behind a nearby curtain to hide. Toto inadvertently discovers the ‘man behind the scenes,’ then pulls the drapery revealing the “real” Wizard of Oz- thus prompting the wizard to utter his iconic line.

As we go through life, we learn certain unfortunate and inconvenient truths. One of the most significant being the hypocrisy of people on the left. While many scold you vehemently on their soapboxes concerning the
dangers and evils of your ways, we often find these people are doing much the same- often worse.

Take for example the crowned leader/bastion of conservative political media and information giant known as Fox News. Through its many subsidiaries including news broadcasts, podcasts, along with shows featuring commentators and political pontification of “all things conservative,” Fox has long been considered the gold standard of conservative/‘right-wing’ media. In the past few years, however, there have been signs that what is being ‘practiced’ and what is being ‘preached’ are far from being synonymous.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words!

In this from The Daily Signal, a recent report revealed just how deep the hypocrisy runs at the station that abandoned the tagline “Fair and balanced,” for the slogan “Standing up for what’s right”:

“Fox News employees are allowed to use bathrooms that align with their gender identity, rather than their biological sex, and permitted to dress in alignment with their preferred gender. They must also be
addressed by their preferred name and pronouns in the workplace.

These are just a few of the policies outlined in the company handbook, dated January 2021, a copy of which was shared with The Daily Signal.

Fox also offers to help employees come up with a “Workplace Transition Plan” to ease their gender transition at work.

The revelations comes amid conservative consternation at Fox Digital’s use of activist language like “gender affirming care” in stories on its website, as well as the site’s consistent use of female pronouns for biological males like TikTok celebrity Dylan Mulvaney and swimmer Lia Thomas (formerly known as Will Thomas).

Fox also drew strong backlash for a June 2022 on-air segment praising a child’s gender transition as an “inspiration to others.” That segment briefly depicted California state Sen. Scott Weiner, a far-left Democrat who led the move to soften sex offender registry requirements for sodomy with minors, and highlighted the activist
claim that a child might commit suicide if he or she is not permitted to transition.

Clearly, the network is comfortable infusing leftism into their daily mega-media agenda.

The article adds:

“They want you to think it’s this place that supports traditionally conservative values,” a former producer for “Tucker Carlson Tonight” told The Daily Signal. “But in reality, they’re pushing this nonsense behind the scenes.”

Carlson’s show was canceled April 24, days after he delivered a viral speech at The Heritage Foundation’s 50th anniversary gala. Fox News Media has not given a reason, simply stating that the two parties “agreed to part ways.”

More recently though, Daily Wire podcast host and author took a much deeper dive into the controversy according to a recent Business & Politics report:

“Political commentator Matt Walsh claims to have obtained internal documents from Fox News employees that show plans for celebrating Pride Month which include reading about “glory holes,” supporting a group that provides sterilizing hormones to homeless youth, and using woke AI to monitor staff.”

In a long and detailed X (formerly Twitter) thread, Walsh lays out those plans which were ostensibly produced by Fox Corp., the parent company of Fox News. The materials were allegedly presented to Fox News employees when they logged into their employee portal.

*Sadly, the depravity of the Trevor Project is well-documented.

At the very top of Walsh’s thread is the assertion that Fox News promotes the Trevor Project which claims to focus on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. But it also allegedly links young gay people to older ones in the LGBTQ community.

“Under the heading ‘Support One Another,’ Fox encourages employees to donate to @TrevorProject, @AliForneyCenter, and @LALGBTCenter,” Walsh wrote, kicking off the extensive thread. Walsh then points out, “The Trevor Project, which Fox says is devoted to helping ‘LGBTQ young people,’ hosts a sexually explicit chat room that connects children as young as 13 years old with ‘LGBT’ adults,” backing up the allegation with a link to the New York Post.

Walsh then goes on to show the network’s support for the Ali Forney Center and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

“The Ali Forney Center, which Fox praises for rescuing ‘homeless LGBT youth,’ appears to admit (on Twitter and its website) that it injects these homeless young people with cross-sex hormones, which are known to cause sterilization,” Walsh notes.

“The Los Angeles LGBT Center, which Fox calls ‘unstoppable,’ has posted a video of a mother ‘surprising’ her ‘trans daughter’ with the child’s first dose of hormones. YouTube removed the footage for terms of service violations, but a screenshot is still on Twitter,” he continued.”

While such reports are both disturbing and disconcerting, what’s worse is that Fox News has yet to debunk, discredit or repudiate these serious assertions. With such proof available, it is extremely difficult to defend the indefensible. Perhaps it’s time that Fox acknowledges its true position on gender ideology and stands corrected.

Of course, Fox News lost its edge and started sabotaging conservatives long before they fired Kevin Jackson. Whether Fox knows it or not, its viewers already see the growing hypocrisy.
