No country wants a leader like Joe Biden; not even America. However countries around the world search frantically for their version of Donald Trump.
As Democrats in America plot to jettison their 81-year-old baggage, Trump continues his surge. Unfettered, Trump easily wins his second term; just like he did his first. Only this time, Trump will get his rightful seat back in the Oval Office.
Luckily for America and the world, Trump’s exploits are numerous. And the world has taken notice. Trump influenced Americans to find their pride of country through MAGA. But his influence is not limited to America, as Trump proves to be a worldwide phenomenon.
Argentina’s Trump
Not long ago I wrote of Argentina’s version of Trump, namely Javier Milei. He ran for president of Argentina, a country in economic turmoil. His platform so mimicked that of Donald Trump, I dubbed him the “Argentinian Trump”.
While Democrats haven’t done themselves any favors, the Trump factor is real. Because the world fears a weak American president.
Despite Hillary Clinton’s “3am” warning, the majority of Americans and partner countries want Trump back. Moreover, as for their leaders, many countries want their version of Trump.
Well, Milei won. And the aftermath mimics Trump in a variety of ways.
For example, the market in Argentina performed as the American market performed upon Trump’s election. It soared. As the BBC reported,
Argentina investors cheered libertarian economist Javier Milei’s bigger-than-expected win in Sunday’s presidential vote, encouraged by his pledges to usher in a radical remake of South America’s second-largest economy.
US-listed shares of Argentine companies soared Monday, with oil company YPF up as much as 34% on bets the maverick outsider will reverse years of disastrous policies that have the country headed to its sixth recession in a decade with annual inflation raging at 140%. Local markets were closed for a holiday.
Undoubtedly this market surge occurred because Milei will implement MAGA: Make Argentina Great Again.
On that note, former U.S. President Donald Trump congratulated libertarian Javier Milei on his election victory on Sunday.
“The whole world was watching! I am very proud of you. You will turn your Country around and truly Make Argentina Great Again!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform
Economics played a central theme in the electoral success of Milei, and he is a big fan of Milton Friedman. However, he is said to be a true admirer of former president Trump. I learned that I’m not the only one who recognized Milei’s affinity for Trump. As it turns out, the one-time rock star and former tantric sex coach has been dubbed a Latin American Donald Trump by others.
In what Democrats should see as a prelude to 2024, Milei won decisively. He defeated Left-leaning economy minister Sergio Massa in a run-off election on Sunday.
Milei received 56 percent of the vote; more than any other presidential candidate has received since Argentina’s return to democracy in 1983.
Milei, himself an economist, won over Argentinians with a promise to tackle hyperinflation and get public finances back under control.
Addressing supporters in Buenos Aires, he said:
“Argentina will return to its place in the world that it should never have lost. We are going to work shoulder-to-shoulder with all nations of the free world, to help build a better world.”
A Trumpian message if I ever heard one. And the perfect message for a country ravaged by socialist policies of Milei’s predecessors.
Argentinians have spoken. And they want an austere president who understands economics. One who will implement policies that benefit all of Argentina.
While Democrats create and promote doom, despair, and chaos, Trump promotes MXGA in many countries. In the case of Argentina, it’s MAGA. And they appear to have elected the right man to Make Argentina Great Again.
