The Democrats will never tell you their biggest fear, but I know what it is. Democrats find themselves in a no win situation, where delay is their only solution.
Understand that many Americans believe Hunter Biden is guilty of influence peddling and for not registering as a foreign agent. He conducted business worldwide, and made lots of money with no product or discernible talent. Also, Hunter could be charged with much more, including that weapons charge. Yet, Hunter Biden escapes punishment.
Hunter Biden has hired the best legal team other people’s money can buy. And, that team fights tooth and nail for Hunter, proposing ridiculous rationales for Hunter’s more than questionable business dealings. While I see no possibility for Hunter to get out of this pickle, he very well may skirt real justice. If he does, that’s a huge problem for Joe Biden.
Trump commented not long ago that one of the reasons he’s resonating with Black Leftists is they see his situation in theirs: pursued, targeted, persecuted for no reason. Or worse, targeted for political reasons.
Blacks maintain the muscle memory of the time when Democrats used the police and attack dogs on us in the 60s. Trump’s predicament today reflects on those unholy days for Democrats. Moreover, the Democrats tormenting of Trump makes it easy for Black Leftists to extrapolate his situation to theirs.
I’ve discussed this often, and explained how big a problem persecuting Trump posed for Democrats. And it’s come to fruition.
Democrats spotlighted their methods, and proved to Blacks that their vitriol isn’t just for non-conforming Blacks. Democrats showcased their ability to point their madness wherever they want, including wealthy white men. Thus, no more “woe is me due to my blackness”.
Blacks saw clearly that Democrats target and destroy whomever they want. So even if Blacks get the power and prestige of wealthy white men, Democrats maintain the power to destroy. What a wakeup call for Black Leftists.
Recognizing White Leftist Privilege
In the case of Hunter Biden, Democrats have a worse problem. They are protecting a bona fide criminal. Hunter Biden is committing “Black crimes”.
Drugs, prostitution, gun charges, tax evasion, and so on are things that Democrats generally convict Black people of. And what of the cycle.
Democrats oppress Blacks in clever ways, almost forcing Black people into lives of crime. When you create situations and scenarios where people have little opportunity, they will eventually lose hope. As desperate times call for desperate measures, Black Leftists resort to crime. Worse, they rationalize it.
Still, many Blacks languish in prisons all over America for a fraction of what Hunter Biden has done. And for the first time for many, they now see the dichotomy between how white Democrat is treated versus a white Republican.
No wonder Blacks can relate to Trump.
Democrats backed themselves into a corner. Convict Hunter, and they convict and condemn themselves. Let Hunter go free, and end up with a Black Leftist mutiny.
Of course, the honorable thing to do would be to convict Hunter of all his crimes. Show the world that justice truly is blind and shows no favor. As Democrats like to promote, “No one is above the law”.
Let’s see if Democrats are willing to put their money where their mouth is. Because the world is watching.
Hunter Biden is using the “I was a Crackhead” excuse. How will that play out, given the number of Blacks in prison for far less charges.
First Step – Second Chance
Trump and the Republicans have an opportunity to serve Democrats crow on this issue. He is famous for this First Step/Second Chance Acts, as he’s freed many Blacks from non-violent drug-related crimes. Trump could spotlight the Blacks who served many years for these crimes, as Hunter Biden’s high-priced attorneys have kept him out of prison.
And what about using Wesley Snipes as Trump’s poster child for tax evasion? How many examples would Trump have of Blacks who served time for gun charges, some of them having used a gun solely for protection?
What an amazing opportunity for Republicans regardless of how the Hunter Biden situation turns out. But they seem to squander the ability to turn up the heat on the Democrats over this issue.
Why not market this situation to the Black community? The dual system of justice front and center. Get Blacks demanding justice for all the brothers and sisters who have sacrificed a good portion of their lives for simply having drugs on their person? Or the same who had firearms for protects? Those who made a little “side money” to help pay the bills?
Yet again, Republicans prove their inability to take advantage of major opportunities.
