Joe Biden is flipping more Democrats to Republican than 1000 Ronna McDaniels ever could. The man is a one-man wrecking crew of the Democratic Party.
The largest political shift occurred back in the 1930s. During the Great Depression, FDR established all kinds of programs that allowed Blacks to get out of the hot sun picking cotton and get on the public dole. My grandfather said it was a choice between working 10 hours in the hot sun picking cotton for $40 a month or getting on the government dole and getting $50. Not much of a choice, even for the people willing to “pull themselves up by the boot straps”.
Nate Cohn of the New York Times referenced FDR’s New Deal coalition as an example of a genuine realignment. Again, Black voters overwhelmingly supported the Republican Party from the time of Abraham Lincoln until the 1930s. However the GOP ignored their plea for financial help. Many Blacks during that time stated that the GOP was “taking our vote for granted.”
The biggest vote transformation in American history occurred as Blacks who voted over 90 percent Republicans shifted to vote over 60 percent Democrat.
One can see similar patterns today. The only thing covering our depression is the spending and debt. Financially, people are worse off than during the Great Depression, just the effects are being pushed downstream like a vicious Ponzi scheme. People may earn more, but they get less.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), real earnings have declined during Biden’s tenure. BLS reported a 2.6 percent decrease from February 2021 to February 2022, a 1.3 percent decrease from February 2022 to February 2023 and a 1.1 percent increase from February 2023 to February 2024. That comes to a net decrease of 2.8 percent.
Ironically, this decrease understates the hardship Bidenomics has created for Black and Latino voters. The cumulative increase in the CPI during Biden’s tenure has hit 17.1 percent: 7.9 percent in his first year, 6.0 percent in his second year and 3.2 percent in his third year.
Jason L. Riley of the Wall Street Journal describes these results as the Biden’s worst nightmare:
Prior to the pandemic, tens of millions of working-class voters — a disproportionate number of whom are black and Hispanic — enjoyed low inflation, low unemployment and rising wages. For them, Mr. Biden’s record doesn’t compare … Mr. Trump isn’t leading Mr. Biden because voters are ignorant about what they’d get in a second Trump term. Joe Biden won four years ago because voters wanted the Donald Trump economy without Donald Trump. That’s not what Mr. Biden delivered, and he’ll have to do more than call his opponent a threat to democracy if he’s going to win re-election.
Biden will not win re-selection, and he certainly won’t win any election. Frankly, the man is the Chamber of Commerce for the ReTrumplican Party.
The Democratic Party can’t take much more bad news or it will fracture. But the hits just keep on coming.
By now we’ve been well-informed about Joe Biden’s polling woes. But things have worsened. Not only did Biden not get his State of the Union bounce, polls are worse than ever.
Nate Silver highlighted Democrats’ worst nightmare. Joe Biden can’t beat Donald Trump, at least not in a fair fight.
Joe Biden has eroded the base of the Democratic Party. Consider that Biden currently has 38 percent approval, when generally speaking, nobody dips below 40 percent, even in a bad year. In the year that Carter lost to Reagan, Carter was at 43 percent.
Joe Biden sits 5 points under one of the worst presidents in history.
Whether anecdotal and actual, shifts in the electorate have been dramatic. Joe Biden is losing the minority voters, particularly Black and Hispanic.
No more will these voters adopt generational norms, and reflexively voting for Democrats. Biden’s policies managed to filter down to the level where the least common denominator voter feels the pain. When Bidenflation hits you directly, you begin to look for answers. The search for answers from Democrats always leads to lies.
Conservatives speak often of the destruction of entire ecosystems by Democrats. Cities are dying, as are academic institution, businesses, and so on that adopt Leftist ideologies. Illegal immigration exacerbates current Leftist-created problems, as does idiotic ideas like BLM and defund the police, to name a couple. And there are many more equally insane ideologically speaking.
John Burn-Murdoch of the Financial Times posted a thread regarding Leftist flight. He demonstrated substantial losses for Democrats among non-white voters. Burn-Murdoch called this a “racial realignment”.
This graphic tells a horror story for Democrats, and have been viewed by millions.
Look at the gap in 1964. The Kennedy Democrats reigned at that time. Reagan closed the gap back in 1984, and Clinton widened it in 1996. Barack Obama widened it again in ’08. But 2016 brought the most dramatic shift in modern history, and that shift continued for two reasons: Trump and Biden.
Trump showed Democrats a different way. As he said to Black Democrats: “What do you have to lose?” Then Biden showed the difference between competence and what some consider treason. And now that gap has practically closed.
According to Burn-Murdoch, working-class voters of color, and younger voters abandon Democrats in droves.
Many Black, Hispanic and Asian American voters have long identified as moderate or conservative rather than liberal, or what we call Leftists. Burn-Murdoch theorizes that Democrats’ tilt toward more Leftist policies has chased away much of its core constituency. Also, the victim mentality no longer sells as the Civil Rights Era relics die off.
Poll denialism
This phrase “poll denialism” was coined by Silver as a result of criticism of his observations.
Last week, an NYT poll showed Biden leading Trump by less than 10 points among non-white Americans, a group he won by almost 50 points in 2020.
Averaging all recent polls (thnx @admcrlsn), the Democrats are losing more ground with non-white voters than any other demographic. pic.twitter.com/3pORRoAOPQ

Democrats picked up a few points with the over 65, college educated crowd. But they lost in every other statistical category, including the most coveted demographic: 18-45
As for who Democrats attract? Well, clearly the Leftist Party appeals to overeducated white virtue-signaling Leftists.
Propaganda doesn’t pay the bills. America’s poor feels the impact of Biden and they will vote with their pocketbooks.
