If you want to defeat Leftism, you must do one thing: sue them.
Leftists have forever used taxpayer money to do their dirty work. And this is because they enjoy keeping their money and using our money for their nefarious deeds.
Look at academia for the blatant hypocrisy. These wackademics get funding to study ridiculous things like “gender studies”. Then they publish papers and give each other credibility for their nonsense. Finally, they use our money to get Leftist politicians to then pass laws on this stuff.
Look at the proliferation of degrees in “social justice” and other “social whatever” nonsense, all predicated on various studies of beleaguered and supposedly disenfranchised groups.
So now we are expected to check each others’ pronouns, less we be chastised for misgendering somebody.
Next, the Left wanted to decide who gets to speak freely. So they colluded with media and social media and ensured that only “left-speak” was allowed. Anything contrary to the established Leftist bullsh*t narrative was declared “misinformation”.
Using taxpayer money, they deployed “fact-checkers” who made sure that lies were turned into truths, and truths not allowed to be seen. But “fact-checkers” wouldn’t be enough, as government needs to feed itself.
GARM was Born
The Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) was formed to do exactly the opposite of what its name implies. With a sanctioned organization, the Left’s sinister plan to do away with the First Amendment would be complete. Speak the truth and you will be demonetized.
Thousands of conservative news and opinion outlets were devastated by GARM and the tactics used by GARM. And it’s still happening to this day.
To use real example, I can report that well over 80 percent of my articles, videos, and radio shows are demonetized due to content. I’m not news, but instead an opinion page. I and my writers give opinions on news and pop culture. We don’t tell you what to do, and don’t care if you share our beliefs. But because our opinions are more often than not pragmatic and practical, we are labeled “conservative” and banned from monetization.
GARM flags our content using bots, then scare advertisers from our pages, and social media platforms like X.
Business Insider reported that the World Federation of Advertisers has disbanded a group that worked to ensure companies only advertise with “responsible” media outlets, hours after it was sued by X and Rumble.
WFA chief executive Stephan Loerke wrote to members on Thursday that the “discontinuing” of the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) initiative was “not made lightly.”
To qualify for membership, advertising firms had to pledge not to place advertisements alongside “harmful” content like “misinformation.”
Just what the world needs, another “membership only” cabal that worshipped to almighty Leftism.
It took the world’s richest man to threaten this organization to get them to back down. Because a few years back, a group of conservative media outlets all met up in DC to meet with Congress to discuss this problem. I was a member of the delegation that included Liftable Media, The Gateway Pundit, and so on. We sat in the lobby of the Trump hotel in DC waiting on our time with Congress. After much time and expense, we learned that Congress would not be able to seat us, and we would need to reschedule. I guess they thought everyone in the world can just turn in a timesheet and collect a paycheck. But for some of us, time is money real money you can actually feel when that deposit hits on Friday.
I can’t speak for everybody, but that trip cost me thousands of real dollars. Airfare, hotel, rental car, food, and most importantly time. And Congress canceled us without a care in the world.
Things have only worsened since that event over 6 or 7 years ago. More conservative media outlets have failed, and those who survive limp along on life-support compared to the days before censorship and shadow-banning.
Thank God Elon Musk recognizes what’s happening, and fights back. With a lawsuit.
He used the tactic of the Left to destroy them. When Leftist realize that their money is at stake, they run.
