In 2008, you would be hard-pressed to find a Black church who didn’t support Barack Obama. The only one I can recall is my friend and pastor at Atlah Ministries in New York City. But outside of that, almost universally Black pastors supported Barack Obama.
This, even with Obama’s horrific stance on partial-birth abortion. In short, Black pastors lost their minds.
By the end of Obama’s second term however, Black pastors looked foolish. Black people weren’t getting closer to God, and they had a lot less money for the collection plate.
Donald Trump would win the next election because many Black parishioners abandoned the Democratic Party ergo the Black church.
Trump got railroaded in 2020 causing one of the best periods in Black history to be disrupted, as Biden was placed into office. Black people endured 4 years of misery and pure hell. If any group realizes how bad Biden has been, it’s Black people.
And now Democrats want to pawn off Kamala Harris as Barack Obama v2.0 circa 2008.
The problem for Democrats is Obama circa 2016 was nowhere close to his predecessor of 2008. So he gets no bump that he can pay forward to Kamala Harris.
Google “Black Pastors for Trump” and the Leftist search engine will try to convince you that Blacks support Harris. See for yourself.
The most prominent picture is that of Harris with Trump nowhere in sight. And they even pretend that a baby-killing Leftist is getting the Black protestant vote. Play along if you will, but I’m not buying it.
And while some people might fall for the “bait and switch” by Google, look at the other articles and you see the Democrats’ problem.
From Reuters: “Trump and Harris battle for Black voters in must-win Georgia”
Really? Since when has a rich, white, Republican even been mentioned in the “battle” for the Black vote?
Back to the Church. Check out Pastor Lorenzo Sewell of a Black church in Detroit.
Lorenzo Sewell is the pastor of the church in Detroit where President Trump visited today. He tells @baldwin_daniel_ that Trump’s visit is a sign that Trump is a man for all people! #ThePeoplesPresident #Trump2024AmericaFirst🇺🇸pic.twitter.com/hdf9UHc43u

Detroit. As in Michigan. A battleground state.
But Sewell is not alone. Pastor Raymond Porter sees the Holy Spirit in Trump.

Believe me when I tell you that these pastors are not outliers.
For decades the Black church has been bought and paid for by the Democrats. But Trump changed things in the Black evangelical community, and the Black community at large.
Trump showed Black people that he genuinely cares. He’s not concerned with language or optics. He doesn’t adopt “Black-speak” when speaking to Black people, as Harris does.
The days of Blacks being on the downlow in their support of Trump is over.
Again, I showcase Google’s bias with this graphic where I googled “Black support of Trump”.
Not a single picture of Trump, but multiple pictures of Harris. And the media outlets portray Harris as winning back the Black vote. But note the Newsweek article at the bottom. The headline reads: Donald Trump Wins 30 Percent of the Black Vote in Shocking Poll.
I’m on record predicting that exact number. While most polls had Trump at 21-22 percent, enough to defeat any Democrats without cheating, I commented on my radio show that Trump would win at least 30 percent. Just like the headline declared, people were shocked when I said this. But after visiting multiple states and hanging with Black folks, I can feel what’s happening.
The Black church has awakened. So they no longer will fall for the undelivered promises of the Left. Prepare yourself for the biggest exodus of Blacks from the Democratic Party since Eisenhower.
